The only downside was lack of view. The apartment is on a street level and the windows open to narrow street. On the opposite side open to small courtyard surrounded by walls.

Pleasant modern apartment in center of Ortigia. Location cannot be much better. Perfect for 2 couples, 2 separate bedroom suites. Well equipped kitchen to fix simple meals. The owner provided basic condiments which was highly appreciated and even brought us pastries for first breakfast.

Fantastic location, right near the beach, great cafe and restaurants nearby and everything within walking distance to town. The Casa Zummo Ortigia was luxurious, spacious and a fantastic choice for myself, husband and our three teenage boys.

GORGEOUS apartment! Matteo was extremely helpful. We booked this place the day of needing a place (last minute cancellation of another accommodation) and we were so happy to find this apartment. We booked at 11 am and we were checked in seamlessly by 2 pm. Matteo guided us through finding parking in town and any other questions we had. Wonderful stay!

There is nothing I can add to make Casa Zummo Ortigia better than it is. Everything about the apartment, its location and host are wonderful.

The location was just perfect! The apartment was located in the heart of Ortigia on a small quiet street with restaurants and shops of every kind and interest nearby. But best of all was the enclosed car garage with very kind attendants literally located 1 minute away from our apartment door. The apartment itself was located on the ground floor with a full modern kitchen, a separate washing area with washer and dryer, two large and beautifully decorated bedrooms and each with its own spacious bathrooms and even a sauna. The apartment was impeccable, modern, and nicely decorated. Our host, Matteo, sent clear details on how to reach the parking garage, the apartment, and the location of the keys making the check-in process smooth and easy. I highly recommend Casa Zummo Ortigia the perfect place for an enjoyable and relaxing sojourn in Ortigia. .

The location is perfect. The property is better than pictures suggest. The spa in the main bedroom was a real highlight. We have a family of 5 and it was great for our 3 night stay. The host was also amazing giving us many suggestions…

The apartment is wonderful and in a fabulous location in the heart of Ortigia. Matteo met us at the bridge across from Siracusa and helped us drive right to the front door to drop off our bags and get into the apartment. Matteo was extremely responsive via WhatsApp and provided excellent recommendations for parking, restaurants, bars, bike hire etc. The apartment was spotless & very well equipped. There are two bedrooms (one with en-suite & a jacuzzi, the other with a dedicated separate bathroom), a kitchen/living area and a separate living area with a sofa bed. Don't think about staying anywhere else when visiting Ortigia, everything is within a short walk of this outstanding property.

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Matteo was an amazing host!! He was extremely helpful and responsive. He showed us the apartment thoroughly and have us tons of recommendations for restaurants and sites and beaches. We had a couple smaller issues with the washer because it was difdt then the ones we have in America but he picked up the call right away and walked us through what needed to be done! Loved the place and would definitely stay there again! And Calarossa beach was a very short walk from the place!!! Thank you for everything Matteo!

The apartment is fantastic, very modern clean and Matteo and his mum have truely thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable, we hadnt even realised there was a jacuzzi! The location is literally just a few steps from the sea and close to the cathedral and bars and restaurants of Ortigia.
