The property has the most amazing location perched on top of a hill overlooking Taormina with stunning views to Etna, the town and beaches below. It’s 10 / 15 minutes drive to easy parking for central (pedestrianised) Taormina and for all the facilities of Giardini Naxos. Taormina is very busy so we enjoyed this haven which has been thoughtfully designed for guests and provided such a welcoming, homely and peaceful experience. South Etna is about an hour away. The Manager and staff bent over backwards to welcome us and accommodated all our wishes. The pool, bar and jacuzzi area were difficult to leave and views spectacular - as was the terrace where the best breakfast we had in Sicily was served from. Our room was spacious and had a fridge and outdoor dining area on a shared terrace. There’s no denying that the road to reach the property was an adventure but is easy to get used to and was part of the charm. We have no hesitation in recommending Casale Di Caterina and would return in a heartbeat. (We took lots of photos and video as we wanted to show how lovely this place is but unfortunately only were able to upload 4 pics)

In the time we went there, the bar was not open, so we did bring our drinks.

The room was very clean and big, we had a little studio with the kitchen and all the amenities. The staff were super nice, all the time checking with us if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The villa is very quiet, the views are stunning. It is a perfect spot for relaxing and chill. You need a car to get there, and it is a difficult road to go up and down, but you'll get used to it. It's worth it for the views 100% The jacuzzi was a nice touch, too. We definitely recommend this place, and we will come back! Thank you to all the staff from Casa di Caterina

We had an excellent stay! The views from the hotel were insane! You can enjoy them while just walking around, during the breakfast or in the pool.The staff was just super welcoming and so easy to communicate with! Such a great place to relax and get away from the busy cities.

Last minute change to a property in Castelmola. The host Constantino was superb and very helpful. We loved the location and terrace. Beautiful location.

The hotel itself is a bit run down, old hotel but it has everything you need, well maintained. The whole place has a very cute decor! And Looks very homey however, when we got there there were a couple of issues in our room but Konstantino changed our room so quickly and made our stay pleasurable. And We had to leave so early last day but he made our breakfast sandwiches and left them in our room for us to take 😭💖

The pool and the view were spectacular! The staffs are very nice and they are trying their best to accommodate all the customers.

 You must take a treacherous windy,road up to the property. Not fun at night after having a few drinks. Pitch black ,poor signage, and no lights. The winding road is a 20 minute commitment. scary, and not for the faint of heart.

- getting there in the evening is really difficult and at one of the intersections the sign for directions was missing - considering this is a high-end accomodation, I was disappointed there was no lacto-free/soy option for milk and coffee - there were a couple of hairs in the bathroom behind the sink when we arrived

- beautiful view - the jacuzzi and swimming pool are clean and accessible 8 am to 8 pm. You can also access them after checkout which is nice - the place itself is very pretty - comfy beds

Accommodation is great, staff is super friendly. The location is great once you come up there. The road is difficult and google maps doesn't show right way so be careful to look where the road signs are. I highly recommend this accommodation 😊

Aircon struggled a bit during heatwave (40C ) too keep rooms as cool as we wanted, especially in bedroom (a/c living. Suggest a/c in both.

Diffiicult to get there, narrow and steep road but this is the price to pay to see the view and stay away from the city noise :)

The object offers great comfort for reasonable cost. Very quite place. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was nice and clean, the bar with drinks and snacks was opended until 19:00. The staff was very helpful and professional. The rooms were cleaned everyday! The breakfast was delicionus. And the view from the room: million dollar experience :)
