Nice location - wonderful mountain views but close to most interesting points - Firenze, Pisa, Lucca.

We stayed here with great weather and spent most of our time outside, but with bad weather we would have missed a larger couch (current couch is only fit for two / three persons) and an easy way to watch TV together - although we probably would have enjoyed the wonderful fire place in stead. Bathrooms are rather small. Furniture in the apartment and one of bathrooms rather outdated. Lots of mosquito's outside.

Very charming and green location, small scale (9 apartments), beautiful gardens, great views, many options to sit and relax, a little playground for small children, a tennis table, and of course the top attraction in summer: a large and well kept pool with plenty of sunbeds and both sun and shade. Friendly and helpful owners and staff (thank you Giulia for all the information and help!). Lots to do and see. Lucca, Pisa and beach all about a 30-40 minute drive. Florence about an hour drive. Great wine tasting at 10 minutes walking distance at Il Calamaio and excellent cooking course in Lucca with Chef Paolo Monti at 10 minutes drive. We stayed at the maisonette Ambra (two bedrooms at the first floor and one at the ground floor - all bedrooms are very large) and were very happy to find out that the bedrooms on the first floor have air conditioning now. The apartment was very clean and had insect screens on all windows. We also appreciated the nice cold wine upon arrival.

wifi didn't work

Excellent home with apartments with comfortable conditions. We had a good rest and went to the nearby tourist towns and swam in the outdoor pool, the water is very warm and clean, thanks a lot to the very attentive staff. The territory is very beautiful and spacious, a lot of beautiful paintings in the room, near the mountains, a lawn, a picturesque view of the panoramic balcony. The owner is very attentive and sociable. Great hotel with good location highly recommend

It was a beautiful location close to everything (convenience stores and cultural sites). The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained and the apartment had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. The staff were helpful with recommendations as to where to eat in the surrounding areas and those were spot on. The pool was big and overlooked a valley. Overall a great place to stay!

the apartment we had was not super kids friendly, many stairs. Also where the trashbags that where provided whery thin and broke twice, no extra trashbags in the flat to be found.

A quiet neighborhood with lovely view. Lucca is very easy to reach from it. Very friendly staff, great pool and even a playground for kids.

Couldn't get the tv to work fortunately it didn't spoil our time there. Her husband was going to sorted it out but didnt get around to it. Some of the Italian plugs didn't fit our international conversion adapter. Not a fault of our host l guess it's an Italian thing.

Location was great a short drive from city centre of Lucca and Pisa. Although the apartment didn't have a washing machine our host allowed us to use a machine on the premises. Which we were grateful for. It was wonderful to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the valley views. We were lucky to see deer's in the distance.

For us, our stay was perfect and we did not miss anything.

Perfectly calm location away from busy roads, big garden, relatively large pool, big rooms, effective (gas) heating. Pictures in every room, painted by Mrs. Alma - I do not know, why nobody mentions them as they are marvelous.

Place was peaceful, clean and suitable for family. Very clean pool and suitable for children. House keeper Alma is kind and helpful lady. At night sky is full off stars. And it is so quite, and air is clean.

The facility doesn't offer meal options; however, there is a baker passing by every morning with fresh bakery products.

Perfectly set in greenery, among rolling Tuscan hills, next to a great pool, everything you might practically want is thoughtfully provided, in great detail, from salt and pepper, tea and coffee, to kitchen towels. Upon arrival, we found complimentary bottles of wine and water waiting for us in the fridge.

since we like to cook, there was cooking utensils are missing in the kitchen. and if there was an oven it was grey , although there was a microwave.

The house was situated in very beautiful and quiet place, surrounded by nature. Apartment was comfortable and spacious. Everything we needed was there. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Second room in the apartment was only available through a very narrow stairway and in addition this addict was extremely hot, so in reality we could not use it. In general we would say that the room was a place to sleep not to stay inside for long.

Everything was fine just a small remark, please call before reaching the place, because Google will drove you to one street which cannot be taken by a car more bigger then a Fiat Panda. Look for the sign of the location before taken the right on the crossroads.

Everything is more than expected, room’s are well equipped and comfortable. View is speechless from the kitchen window or from terrace. We coming back, for sure and we will recommend to all our friends.

The interior heating was inadequate and erratic during the cold weather (waking in the night by the cold) Our neighbour had good heating but it didn't seem possible to fix ours other than spasmodically. WiFi and telephone services were erratic - frustrating.

The apartment and immediate surroundings were excellent.
