Great location in the hills above Lipari. Sublime feeling being in the pool gazing at the smoke-holes on the crater in neighboring Vulcano. Very relaxing start to an eventful holiday - wish that we had spent more time here. Special thanks to Linda, our host. She went above the call of duty to meet our needs at every opportunity. Take it from me, transport to and from the port, arranging a free pass to the Piscine di Eolo and providing extra towels were all very much appreciated. Our apartment was spacious and very clean throughout - and the aircon came in very handy during the heatwave. Even better, the outdoor eating and drying facilities meant that we really had a home from home. Based upon our 4 night-stay, you will make the best decision of your holiday by staying here. All guests young and old mixed well even in the presence of language barriers. We loved it and want to return again. Finally, you can get the bus back up the hill from the port (marked Capistello). Grazie mille, Linda. A prossima volta!

It is perfect accomodation (we were a family of 4) but you might need to rent a car or a scooter to move between town and this place, located a few miles out of city centre.

Great place, very clean, calm, with an amazing view from the beautiful swimming pool. The host (Linda) was super friendly, very helpful and facilitated our stay, accommodating any request - grazie :-) I don't think there is a better place that this in Lipari, we would love to return :-) A presto!

This location is gorgeous. They have a beautiful infinity pool with terraces, a jacuzzi corner and very well kept Mediterranean gardens. Its highlight is of course the magnificent view you have on Vulcano, the "Bocche di Vulcano " strait and on Sicily. We also loved the style of the little houses and its resort a mix of modern Aeolian and Mediterranean decoration. Although Ms. Linda informed us that the kitchen facilities will be renovated for the next season we found everything good enough to enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment was clean and our Host Linda, her cleaning team and hand-worker very friendly  and always eager to help. We enjoyed a free transfer from and to the harbor and our price/value ratio was unbeatable for the September period. We also highly recommend Francesco (smooth  and worry free take over and return) from Ciccio scooter rental which delivered a brand new scooter at the apartment.

One… but really small thing that was missing was salt/pepper/oil that could be included in the kitchen stuff. But apart from it everything was great!

Linda was a great host. We really enjoyed our stay at Case Vacanze Margherita and loved the view on active volcano from the swimming pool.

One of the best places I have even stayed at!!! Thank you so much, Linda for making my stay unforgettable. Linda (the host) did everything to make my stay even more beautiful in this very special place. And the place itself is already breathtaking. Stunning views, beautiful apartment, very special pool with direct view on Vulcano. The whole property is designed with a lot of love to the detail, very clean but charming&full of colorful flowers. Perfect atmosphere to relax. I will definitely come back as soon as possible. I even got the opportunity to spend a day in the spa which is located next door and a true oasis to fully relax with all senses! Thank you!!!

Guests should know that the property is outside of town, on top of a hill. But there is a small road that goes straight down, and it takes about 20-25 minutes to get into town. The way down is much easier than the way up (obviously). However, since the manager can often provide transport, this is not a big problem.

This is a very classy place to stay, with gardens, wonderful views, and a great swimming pool overlooking the sea. There are some good hikes in the neighborhood. The manager is very kind and helpful, and goes back and forth into town regularly, so it is usually possible to get transport.

Nothing. The host worked very hard to get us settled and welcome.

This was a luxury stay. It has a fully stocked kitchen. This is a great location to explore the other islands and drive around the island of Lipari. I would recommend a stay of several days to really enjoy the experience. The host met us at the ferry and drove us from town and back several times to rent a car and get us settled. The site is exceptional.

Nothing to complain about in this property.

Everything, from the hospitality of the staff to the architecture of the property. The infinity pool overlooking Vulcanello is probably the highlight of Case Margherita but my apartment had an equally beautiful view from a terrace fun which I could even see the Sicilian coastline. I also loved the gardens and the cats. From this location you cannot smell the smog which is a norm downtown Lipari. You are really not that far from the main attractions. You are doing to need a vehicle anyway if you want to fully enjoy this island. Walking distance you can find a couple of secluded beaches called Forbice (aka Praia Ferrante) and Secca. They aren't for everyone, need to be ready for a steep hike on what once were mule tracks. You can also reach the view point of the Geostation Observatory with a 20 minutes walk. Bring water, hat a good shoes (including those who you can wear on rocks in the sea) wherever you go.

The view and the warm hospitality of Linda are just wonderful! We totally enjoyed our stay! You can find everything you need in the appartement and the outdoor area is amazing!

Our room was very dark and all tiled, with very uncomfortable lighting. They even have the lights on in the garden the whole night through - which is unnecessary and kills a lot of atmosphere. Also the "garden view" is more like a "parking lot view". The apartment was very small for 4 people. The jammed 2 of the beds around the kitchen table - which was only acceptable after we completely rearranged the furniture. There is not so much privacy on the terrace because there is only a very shallow dividing wall between the two apartments.

Amazing location on top of the island with a breathtaking view of the ocean, Vulcano and Milazzo. The pool they have is one of a kind and also the property is very special and memorable. Our host Linda was very attentive and helpful and would always offer to take us to the city (the accommodation is pretty remote, which is more than compensated by the fantastic view) and also arranged rental car for us! We had a large terrace with comfortable furniture.

The location is quite far from Lipari town. Around a 20min walk down but is about 30mins up a very steep road. It costs €20 for a taxi from the town.

The apartment is 8/10min drive (up steep hill) from Lipari with amazing views over Vulcano Island from the infinity pool. The location is very peaceful away from the town. Linda is a super host, really hospitable. She collected us & dropped us back at the Port on arrival/ departure and offered to drop us to town if she was heading that way. Apartment was 1 bed, bathroom & kitchen with sofa & table which had everything you needed to cook a simple meal.
