The hotel is lovely. It's outside of the main attraction areas but that was fine for us. The pool is brand new and wonderful. The staff were lovely and the food great. The rooms are quite small but for the money I think it was fine and its not really a place you stay in the room a lot. Good aircon!

The rooms hidden in a corner with no real window. The beds were comfortable,and the bathroom good,but the lack of windows was a large down point.

The hotel and the surrounding gardens were well looked after.

a bit noisy from the street nearby, Blindings were broken.

Nice big room, comfortable mattress, new towels every day, stunning surroundings, stunning garden, friendly and helpful staff, EV charging, dogs accepted, I also liked the breakfast.

We were informed just a couple of days before our arrival that the pool was closed for reconstruction. When we arrived we noticed that they must have been working on the pool for some time so the original listing should have indicated this. We specifically were looking for accommodations with a pool. Once we were notified we were already in Italy and didn’t want to spend our vacation searching for an alternative.

there were two weddings and a major event while we were there, all on the same day and we couldn't walk around. the pool and spa weren't finished and won't be for many months.

i booked a 2 night stay for my parents and they loved it. The room was smaller than expected but still comfrotable. The room faced one of the beautiful gardens that surround the castle. Breakfast was also very good. Staff is accomodating and the location is huge but still cozy. I believe they caste will soon have a spa which i'd say it will be a great add on to fully enjoy the stay

We arrived during the shoulder season. It was unseasonably warm and the air conditioning was not available (this was an effect of the gas and energy restrictions in Europe resulting from the Ukraine War and NOT within the hotel’s control). With the windows open at night, it was fine.

The sensitive modernization to the historic nature of the property and the facilities were excellent. The location is superb for exploring the Lake Como area.

- We found the room a tad expensive. - Inside the main building it wasn't always easy to find the way. We found the breakfast room by trial and error. - Mosquitoes....

Comfortable bed. Functional bathroom. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely restaurant and a great swimming pool.

I wish the room could have been a bit cooler the thermostate was not very effective.

The staff was extraordinarily helpful and even helped us arrange better transportation when. moving on to our next destination. The dinner was delicious, the property beautiful, and the breakfast spread impressive.

First, it was strange because they set up a table for about 20 people for a private dinner on our floor by our room door. We ended up going out for dinner and coming back late at 11pm and the people left at 11.30pm. however, it was loud and if we had decided to have an early night, it would have been impossible. I raised it with the hotel in the afternoon but it did not seem to alarm them and they did not understand how it could disturb us. There is nothing in the room to make yourself a coffee or tea. The door to our shower was not fixed (no leak, so not a deal-breaker). We got a king bed room and there is nothing other than a bed and a desk. Not even a small armchair. Breakfast was ok but nothing exceptional for the price of the room.

The castle is really beautiful and worth a walk around. Our bed was comfortable and we had a good night of sleep.

There is no photo of the rooms in the back Villa. If your choosing lowest price, you wont get the room from the photos they shows. The room was good and bathroom was nice but the expectations were a bit higher. We expected to get the room whats shown on photos. Yes the room we got was nice too but it was a bit of frustration that its not the same level as we expected. So after all i kinda feel a bit scammed. I prefer hotels would show exact room after you selected your stay etc

Breakfast was disappointing given the excellent dinner.

Dinner was outstanding as was our room. The gardens and pool are picturesque. Waiters at dinner were very good and engaging. Dining outdoors on a warm evening had a great atmosphere. Porters were very helpful.

Breakfast buffet not up to standard of a 4* hotel. Breakfast also held in a very “dark” (lacking illumination) area; the possibility to have breakfast outside would be nice.

When we were there, the pool area was occupied by 3 families with kids. The kids were just jumping into the water again and again the whole time, Very noisy which does not match the "wellness" feature of the hotel. So we left after half an hour.

Food was pricey.

Beautiful! Great pool area clean and karge enough with great lounge areas and awesome waiters at the bar. Food is amazing if a tad expensive, wine even better but I think all in all it was pretty much perfect price considering. Staff were lovely super attentive and fun. Immaculate place easy to find and perfectly located a short drive to Como or other areas. Lots of parking.
