A special place in the middle of nature. Authentic local food, Tuscan hospitality and friendliness. Many thanks to Paolo and his friends, both two-legged and four-legged :). We regret that we had only planned to stay there for one night. If we get back there, we will definitely stay longer.

You need a car and preferably one that can handle off road, so don’t book thinking you can just walk up. The hosts are very nice to make breakfast lunch and dinner, but there was some confusion within our group whether it’s inclusive or not.. The host did not clarify preemptively and was simply serving us out of what seemed pure hospitality. After the end of our trip we were informed we had to pay for the lunches and dinners. Not a problem, but it would have been nice to know what we were signing up for..

Delightful location great for hiking and enjoying nature. The hosts were exceptional and friendly and providing for anything we needed even at very unreasonable hours. The house is also extremely cosy and quaint. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are fantastic and fresh.

It was a nice vacation and a unique experience. The place is very beautifull and the hosts are very nice. I recommend to spend a couple of days in this location. You can go on a hike for 30 minutes and see some breathing views.

It was a great experience. Everything was authentic: the mountains, the accommodation, the horses, the dogs, the birds, the fireflies at night, singing with the guitar, the people we met, the host Paolo himself. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, the dinner was delicious. Highly recommended!

You have to keep in mind the last few kilometers on the bumpy dirt road. It was manageable even with my little rented car, but some people might find it difficult. Il centro is also not easy to find in the dark the first time, since the navigation can easily lead you astray. The accessories in the house were limited. If you plan to cook on your own in the house, you have to bring everything you need. But one spends time in very inviting common room in the main building, or just outside it.

Il Centro is set in a very natural, beautiful and quiet area and a perfect starting point for hiking trips right from that location or a short drive away. The house I stayed in was rustic and charming. The bathroom is well equipped and modern, the beds comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It was very nice to gather in the common room for dinner and talk. It creates a very nice social atmosphere with persons also on active, outdoor vacations (perfect if you are vacationing on your own, as I was). The dinners were freshly cooked and delicious, with good local wine.

The place is great, but very rural. So if you have any mobility issues or if you are afraid of animals, this place wouldn't suit you.

It's like living in the woods, free horses and the most amazing dogs. Fireflies at night are wonderful. The food was also excellent

There wasn’t clean and it was very cold in the house. At the begging I asked about the price of horse riding, but when it was time to pay for that the price was twice bigger (30€/h) and it was riding lesson next to the house. So if you are hoping to ride in the forest better don’t have that kind of expectation.

Location is great! All the nature around is amazing, also there are living 19 horses. All animals around are so lovely and friendly. The owner is friendly. We also ordered dinner so the food was very tasty. In general it was good and new experience.

We were offered a room in the central house instead of split level 2 bedroom house. We made our own beds, it was noisy and other guests used our toilet. Shower was not clean and water freezing cold. There were other guests in another building who did not have these problems and I am sad we were charged the same as a stand alone, 2 bedroom house with warm water we’d originally booked. I should have orobably not taken the offer to stay at the central House but was not aware of the difference being so big while charged the samen. It takes away from the nice atmosfeer and great food, and left us with a feeling of taken advantage off
