The bathroom urgently needs a renovation, the paint of the walls and roof are falling down and the shower curtain is dirty and disgusting. There were not enough hot water for the shower of 3 people. So the first one take the shower with hot water and the next 2 with really cold water. There were only 1 toilet paper for 3 people and 5 nights, so we had to buy it. The apartment is not soundproofed, so if you have problems to sleep it's not a good choise, because you can hear every single car that's passing on the street.

The location is very good, just a few steps from the main square. Francesco is very friendly and explain us a bit about the surroundings. The bedroom is upstairs, it's quite big with a double bed and a single bed. You have air-conditioned upstairs and also downstairs.

The ladder between floors is very steep. The location is pretty noisy, because is near a busy street, with a lot of car traffic even in the night, and the sound proofing is not quite top.

Excellent location, very central. Francesco is a very nice host. The appartment is on 2 floors, an the bedroom is at the upper one and is beautiful. We enjoyed the self-service breakfast, with plenty of sweets and drinks to choose from. The presence of an expresso machine was awesome and the coffee was delicious.

Have in mind that the room is litteraly on the street and at night it gets noisy - you can hear everything that is happening on the street from cars passing to people walking, so if you have light sleep may be it will be uncomfortable for you. But everything else was good.

The plase has an exellent location - next to the center and everything you want to see. The Borsellino buss stop where you can take the bus to the airport is also close. There is a lugage storage boxes and lots of restaurants and bars near. Francesco was very helpful and available all the time - very kind and simling person.

It felt a little run down. It does need a bit of attention. The walls in the bathroom has water damage and the double bed mattress has no support. It felt like a lot of basic things were missing, there weren't a dishcloth or oven mits. The toilet seat was also loose or unstable. Everything just felt like a mission. We were looking forward to book out.

There was little shampoo and bars of soap. The location is very central. It has air conditioning.

Great location, short walk to the central piazza. Clean, well equipped place on a quiet street. Host was super friendly and even called to arrange a taxi to the airport for me for the next morning. The taxi didn’t show up (not the host’s fault) but the place is so central that I was able to walk just a few blocks (at 5:30 in the morning) to the duomo where I found a taxi.

Apartment with a good location in the city center, very clean. In appointment was very good pod coffee maker and different types of coffee. Very helpful and friendly owner. There are many attractions, cafes, restaurants nearby. The a colorful fish market in 8 minutes from apartment, where you can buy fresh fish or eat it cooked on the market cafe.

For four people it's cramped and there's not enough wardrobes and lockers. Muggy bathroom and the lower part of the apart. Not much space in the kitchen part. Stench from the lockers with cleaning supplies. Moreover we got robbed. Although there are bars in front of the door they do not reach the cealing and a burglar get into apartment above them through the window which we left not closed but with mosquito net. So always close the window when you go out and this way you may be sure that nobody will rob you.

The accommodation consists of a lower level that is located literally on the street and at street level, from which not even a meter of space separates it. And the upper level to which steep, winding and narrow stairs lead. There is absolutely nothing on the upper level except the bed, and for everything you need, you have to go downstairs. The worst thing about this accommodation is the noise which is absolutely unbearable. I had the impression that I was sitting on the street. Passers-by, as well as traffic, are 30 cm from your head if you sleep on the ground floor. Besides the noise, what deserves the most negative rating for this accommodation is the unbearable stench of dampness. We did not get the announced and paid breakfast because we only saw the owner once, for a short time, upon entering, when he came to take money for the tax. All in all, I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We based our choice on the ranking and the photos - unfortunately they both are quite misleading. Perhaps the place looked better in the past and hence the 9s and 10s but right now: - paints peels off in several places - bathroom door handle falls off - the breakfast is a few supermarket croissants (for a family of 4 for 2 nights!) and yoghurt (some of which was past best before date!) - kitchen equipment is scarce (no kettle/knives etc.) - the decor is simply tacky... - uncomfortable stairs - no table big enough to sit and eat for 4 people - the shower curtain was filthy

Perfect location - main attractions, market with fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and cheese in few steps, as well as Fish Market. Very cosy and clean appartment, has all neccessary for a stay. Plenty of bars and restaurants in vicinity, but not too close to disturb a rest in the night. Friendly and client-orientated owner. Highly reccomend!
