It is not worth discussing the disadvantages, because the hotel already has a 1-star rating, probably due to the old age of the building and the common bathroom. But guests are warned about this and should be prepared to stand in line for the toilet or hear the creaks of the old wood and the voices of the neighbors.

Shared toilet but then that is why it is so cheap, it is worth it, personally I only had to wait for the toilet a couple of times.

Personally I do not find anything wrong, it is what i expected for the price and the facilities they offer. If I wanted something else, i would have booked elsewhere. But i get what i pay for, knowing in advance.

It is very homy, clean, Alessio the owner is very helpful, polite and comfortable to talk to. Very central location, i was out, if i was tired, i would go quick to my room to rest my legs a bit and leave again. Simple.

Out of the owners control, but on arriving the entrance hall and staircase was very smelly due to the rain / water.

Owners were lovely - very welcoming and very helpful with recommendations and the local area. Location was fantastic, no more than 20 minutes walking to any point in florence.

The location was superb and the hosts were outstanding. They spent 20 minutes with us explaining everything about Florence. Where to eat, shop and must see places of interest. Our room was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. The best accommodation we’ve had so far on our 5th week in Europe.

The WiFi signal was not very good, and there was a slight odour in the room, prompting me to keep the window closed throughout my stay. It's worth noting that the odour originated from the inner patio, rather than any lack of cleanliness in the room itself.

The owners were so welcoming and lovely upon arrival. They shared really good knowledge and recommendations of places to eat and different areas to see. It’s a great location, the hotel was clean, and perfect for a solo traveller.

Flushing was very loud. Opposite side of my window was the window in the next building, and you could hear the street sounds. There was no coffee corner where you could make yourself a morning/evening drink.

It is situated close to Ponte Vecchio, a walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Great atmosphere, everything about the room/stay was explained in the details at the check-in. Bathroom was regularly cleaned and despite there is only one bathroom I never had to wait.

There is no kitchen or kettle for hot water in the room, which would've been nice. The bathroom is shared with the whole floor (which are at least 8 rooms), which may be a bit bothersome if you have bad luck and everyone is using it. However the bathroom itself was always clean and the shower was good too.

Cozy accommodation on an historical building in the heart of Florence. The location is unbeatable and the surroundings are quiet. Around 10 minutes by foot from the train station. The room was spacious, with a double bed and a personal basin. The host explained to us the layout of the city and gave us helpful tips on what to see and where to eat.

Didn't sleep very well and realized in the morning that I got bitten by bedbugs :( No idea how it can be because this place looks super clean and comfy, they might have traveled on my clothes from the previous stay (but I slept just fine there..)

Fantastic location in the centre of Florence, beautiful vintage room, the hosts are very friendly and would explain you everything, the place (including the bathroom) is very clean and comfortable. I had no problems with the noises from neighbours or the street.

There was only a single shared bathroom for all rooms. I didn't have many issues getting in, but something to keep in mind if you have limited time in the morning or evening.

Amazing location and very friendly hosts. It was easy to leave luggage there before check-in or after check-out. The room was clean and had its own sink, which was very convenient given the shared bathroom.
