Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomHard to think of anything. We had beige curtains in our room - I hate beige - but I'm splitting hairs here.
The location is to die for. After the hurly burly of being with the crowds, it feels like an oasis of calm. The service is excellent - the staff really do care if you are happy, they are brilliant. This hotel offers many things, great breakfast included in the price, a fab pool, lovely spa, good cocktails, beautiful rooms, but it's the staff who are the secret weapon. We only came home last night and we are planning our next trip.

I would like to highlight the Lady with short black hair at the front office, i guess Nicola, and the gentleman at the beach with glasses. And the lady with long braun hair at the beach. She was also very helpfull and kind. Our room was super, facing to Venice. The breakfast and the dinner at Cip’s club were also beyond expectations. Many thanks. Def will come back

IsraelWe loved taking the private luxurious shuttle boat to San Marco island but this may be a problem for people afraid of sailing who may prefer to stay on the other side of the lagoon in walking distance of the sites. The only other negative was that the breakfast service if you order off the menu was very slow so by the time it came we had to go off. That can be managed by leaving at least an hour for a hot breakfast and also a good half hour each way to get to Piazza San Marco ( including waiting for shuttle)
Fabulous room with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The staff were excellent and catered to our every need. The views and scenery ( gardens, Olympic pool area etc) were stunning. Had the best fish meal ( turbot and asparagus) I’d ever tasted in a restaurant (and it was only the bar restaurant). The chocolates they gave us in the room on arrival were divine. Breakfast was lavish. We felt pampered the whole time and had a wonderful romantic holiday.

United KingdomWe ate at the Michelin restaurant one evening and having visited many Michelin restaurants we were extremely disappointed. The taster menu was very expensive and some of the courses were well below the standard you would expect from a starred restaurant. Also the service didn’t reflect what you would expect in a Michelin restaurant . But don’t let that put you off .. eat at Cips !!
Beautiful hotel, the staff were wonderful and the customer service was out of this world . The location was great , even though you weren’t in the centre of Venice it was nice to escape the bustle of Venice and the hotels regular free water taxi was perfect to get back and fore when you needed. The breakfast which is included was exceptional and we had some lovely treatments at the spa. We ate at Cips restaurant a few nights and the food was fantastic and again , the staff couldn’t do enough for you . Would certainly go back !!

United KingdomBreakfast excellent, although on our first day, some of the a la carte menu we ordered, we had to remind the waiting staff and did wait 30 mins for an omelet and some scrambled eggs! Also, had an excellent lunch in the pool side restaurant, but again we never received the sparkling water we ordered, so just very minor gripes, but for an expensive, high end hotels group you expect fantastic service consistently.
Location was perfect, on the whole; staff exceptionally attentive, especially upon arrival. Warm welcome, and made to feel like old friends rather than another hotel guest. Intuitive customer service, and nothing too much trouble. Ambience relaxed luxury :-) Location and views; hotel Cipriani boat service a fabulous service to have at your disposal! Cip's club restaurant lovely, again we were very well looked after there. Relaxed atmosphere and the Sea Bass was one of the best I've tasted. All in all a very special place that we enjoyed immensely to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were also kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite with terrace/ direct pool access, which would be fantastic in the warmer months, very much feels like a resort hotel. It was lovely in March, but it will give us good reason to return in summer!!
