the location was great near colosseum, and the outside of the hotel was incredible. we got the presidential suite for our room, which was insane! slept well in bed. the staff was really nice

The shower dial was all cracked and looked pretty naff. The shower itself was also too small. The sink was also scratched up.

Best location and staff ever. We walked to most places from here, including the Vatican which is a slightly longer, but beautiful walk. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Lovely reception, clean and pretty room. Coffee and kettle in room. Very quiet (except for the neighbour shouting on her phone). I would definitely recommend!

The shower was tiny and the water pressure not great. But it did the job. The building is old which is full of charm but on the negative side you could hear any noise from the courtyard as the windows were not double glazed and the noise from the wine tasting was very loud and clearing up went on until well past 11pm which wasn't great when we had an early flight the next day.

Good location as we love to walk around a city to explore and it was within half an hour of all the major attractions. Also there was a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates in the room as it was my husband's big birthday on our second day there which was a lovely touch - thank you! The building is pretty and the courtyard is pretty too, Unfortunately we didn't get to sit in it as the hotel was hosting a wine tasting evening and it was very crowded with 100+ people who weren't staying at the hotel. It was a shame we didn't get notified of this but not a major problem.

Location on Circus Maximus near to Palatine Hill, Forum & Colosseum felt like you were part of Ancient Rome. Great nearby cafe, restaurants & bar. Travestere a short walk away , as was Central Rome. Staff were exceptional, very friendly, helpful, informative & very customer focused.

The soundproofing is not so good as I can hear the next room's noise at midnight.

Perfect location with super nice staffs. The hotel inside is so beautiful and quiet. Close to Colosseo and you can walk to there around 10 mins.

The bed was very narrow. I think the last time I slept on an 80cm mattress was when I was 5 or so; plus it was not a comfortable mattress. And - I don't think anything can be done about that as the building is naturally very old - it was rather noisy. You can understand every word when your neighbours next door talk, and you can hear them snore.

The staff is absolutely delightful. Whether Sarah, Marcella, Ludovica or Andrea - they made me truly welcome and made me smile every day 😊. The location is perfect for excursions on foot into Rome; several smaller restaurants and cafés are just around the corner. The bus stop for buses into town is close by as is the metro. The hotel is built around an inner courtyard into a monastery; rather charming. I had a single room. It was small but fine as everything I needed was intelligently provided.

Fabulous location within walking distance of Trastevere, Coliseum, Ancient Rome, the Jewish quarter. Our room was basic but spotlessly clean with a really comfortable bed, TV, good shower room. It was cleaned and made up every day. The team on reception were friendly and really helped us to get our bearings. This is a simple place, no frills but the courtyard, comfortable room and the friendly team made it a calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of Rome.
