Controlling things from an iPad can be cool but sometimes annoying

The staff were incredibly friendly. The terrace and self-service bar was so cool. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and so big! The room was very spacious. The location was excellent, with a short walk over the river to Trastevere.

Great customer service by an exceptional staff. Charles at the front desk was extraordinary in his service. This was our first time at the property or any citizenm. Loved the technology approach coupled with amazing service. Citizenm will be on our list of places to stay as we travel.

Properties are generally expensive in Rome and the hotel can be put under this category as it is overpriced for a 4-star hotel, especially that it does not offer the basic amenities e.g. coffee/tea/kettle in the room, slippers, vanity kit, water bottles in the room, etc. Coffee can be purchased and water bottles can be refilled on the GF. Cleanliness can be improved, mainly in terms of dusting and vacuuming.

The hotel is very well situated by the Tiber river and at walking distance from all major sites and from the hustling Trastevere. The ambiance and decoration are very pleasant. The staff are agreeable and helpful. The checkin/checkout process is very smooth. The room is nice and user-friendly but having no space on both sides of the bed is not the best - which is something we were aware of before booking. The blackout blinds are very functional.

Breakfast didn't have many options and was kind of pricey. The bed was placed in a way that made it hard for the person on the inner side to get out and in. There was one big blanket instead of two separate ones. There was no wardrobe.

The location was great. The air ventilation was very good. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the shower implementation is great. The iPad control is a cool idea. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Minimum staff and not so much atmosphere in the lobby. However the staff present was very helpful and knowledgeable. Standard no cleaning although room price is EUR 320+ per night. First night too late to revert 'no cleaning' standard setting into an optional 'cleaning yes approach'. I personally find this over the top, this kind of approach under the title 'save the world; don't let your room be cleaned during your holiday'.. Roof terrace with self service concept is presented as an extra, but I was not impressed by it..

There should be Settings for the lights section separately or switch on the wall for certain section lights. As switch affects all lights together on wall and on tablet. Only this small thing.

You can't control room temperature.

Modern, new, comfortable hotel even though much of it is self-service (even dining), friendly staff, good bathroom. It was walking distance to a lot of tourist spots and walking distance to Trastevere for dinners.

My only suggestion would be to provide more hangers in the room, as that would have been helpful. Additionally, I found the breakfast to be a bit pricey.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at citizenM Rome Isola Tiberina. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. The self-check in process is quite funny.

I really like the concept of CitizenM and the modern facilities they have. It's compact but it does have storage options just enough for the stay. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out process. Using iPad to control the in-room facilities is very intuitive. Walking distance to some popular sites i.e. Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Sant'Ignazio Church etc. Tram route 8 is just downstairs and other public transport options are in easily accessible walking distance.
