Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

A very good price for Mestre/Venezia. Parking place, a place outside for having a cup of coffee and cigarette. Close supermarket Lidl. Connection with Venezia by public transport (buses). In 10 Minutes walking is an excellent pizzeria: Pizzería Ristorante Ae Oche Mestre, Via Circonvallazione, 119.

PolandI did not like that there was nothing to eat in the hotel and in the neighbourhood when I arrived at 8pm . There was no means of public transportation to the hotel after 8pm. Walking on foot from the city center was dangerous because you have to pass a deserted tunnel and crossing with the motorway. It is a good hotel for traveling by car, but not for sb who wants to visit Venice, unless you take taxi each time. I saw on the map that the hotel is close to the bus stop, and had no idea that the buses stop services so early. The breakfast was at the hotel next to Club Hotel. The service wasn't perfect.
I liked that the room was clean and the price was very attractive.

GermanyThere is a bidet in the bathroom, but it is very dirty, it is better not to touch it. a broken watering can in the shower, in which it is almost impossible to wash. there is a lot of dust on the upper shelves in the closet, it is better not to put things there. We rented 2 rooms. there was no tulle in our room, our friends had tulle in the room, but they didn't have hangers in the closet. If you order breakfast, then breakfast is in another building, you have to go 200 m there.
convenient location. there is a public transport stop nearby.

HungaryThe lighting didn't work in the room. The room was cold during the night. There is almost zero soundproofing, we heard every single movement in the hallway.
The train station is in walking distance, the hosts were very nice and helpful at the reception. They spoke very good English.

United KingdomIt is almost 2 miles from Mestre, a 40+ minute walk. There are buses but you need to buy tickets in advance so plan ahead really well. The app takes 2 days to verify and buy tickets from and ticket shops close after 6pm. There is nowhere near the hotel to buy a ticket from so you may get stuck! There are no shops or restaurants nearby so factor that in if you have been walking all day and either eat first or pick up supplies. The rooms are very noisy at night due to fire doors and thin walls. Photos above are misleading. No breakfast or food provided and only coffee from a machine. The room we stayed in was a double but essentially 2 single beds pushed together, window looking into rooms of another accommodation very close by. All if this is fine for the price and if you just want a place to lay your head for the night. However, we only stayed for 2 nights but I came away covered in, what I believe to be, bed bug bites. I did not see any mosquitoes during my stay and was bitten in lines and clusters on my face, hands and arms and places that were only exposed when in bed! Room 310.
The room and hotel was ok and as expected. Size was ok with desk and ensuite bathroom. Towels were provided. You could buy drinks from a small selection at reception. Young changing rota of staff who seemed inexperienced but helpful.

United KingdomThe shower didn't work great, but did what it needed to do, eventually.
The room was clean and tidy, a bit basic but definitely value for money. Check-in was from 2:00pm. I arrived at 1:50pm and had to wait until the check-in time! The hotel is situated away from the main centre of Mestre, but buses run on a regular basis to places like Mestre train station. Jump on the 31H (bus stop on main road outside hotel) this will take you to Mestre Centrale train station where you can catch the train to Venice, or change to the no 2 bus direct to Venice( bus stop outside the station). If you walk about 800m from the hotel towards Mestre centre you can catch the number 2 which will take you directly to Venice and visa versa on the way back. I walked from Mestre train station to the hotel and it took about 20-25 mins. To catch the bus from Mestre Centrale to the hotel, cross the road outside of the train station and wait at the bus stop, catch the 31H and get off at the next stop after the Lidl supermarket junction, the Club Hotel is located on the other side of the main road. The hotel staff spoke great English, which is a great help when your Italian is pretty poor.

Lithuaniahow far it was from the city, especially that you need to walk 1km to the bus stop to catch a bus going to venezia. also there was a bus strike when we stayed so we couldn’t buy bus tickets and had to walk to mestre station with heavy backpacks. i also was disappointed by the water pressure in the shower as it was very low.

New ZealandRooms are quite inconsistent. We stayed twice on our way to and from the Dolomites and our first room was really not bad, pretty clean and warm. Our second room wasn’t as clean although the important things like sheets and towels were! And the heater wasn’t working so the room was cold all night. Basically if you get a bad room you could probably switch! We weren’t too fussed as it was one night (and super cheap, why would we complain 😂)
Good value for money, staff are lovely.
