I think it would be better to renew some things. For example, the window upstairs or the beds. Although I cannot say they're uncomfortable.

Our stay was nice. We had a lot of space, apartments were cleaned and well-located. In summer you can enjoy more the terrace, it looks really nice.

Bathroom has a few rough patches on the ceiling and walls, and the shower ceiling is low for tall people. Kitchen table/area is small, and no great storage for the pots/pans, silverware.

Landlord was very responsive, and upon request he let us enter the apartment with a code earlier than the official check-in time. We were very grateful! Nice neighborhood! Bus stop is very close-by, grocery store and the Colosseum are a short walk away, respectively. No special instructions for expected cleaning procedures before leaving, so after general tidying it's an easy departure. There were shower soaps available.

There was a distinct smell in the room which did not get better over 3 days that we were there. We left the touist tax money in the room to be collected by owner. I think collection of tourist tax could be more steamlined, perhaps through booking.com.

Keys were available in a key box. Property owner texted me instructions on chat on booking.com. He was also quick to contact me via whatsapp when I arrived there. The rooms have AC and very clean. The host was helpful.

Alert - Bed bugs everywhere - Poor lighting - Damped walls - Black fungus and moulds - No door lock in the bathroom - Kitchen utensils are damaged - Hygiene is not good at all - Owner is not at all helpful and accommodating. I have reported about bed bugs after our first night still the owner didn't do anything to fix it (PS. all the other rooms were available). For us it was 2 nights of nightmare. I know what the owner will reply to this review - "fake and uneducated people". How I know this! After having a nightmare experience I was going through the reviews, the owner has replied to all the other guests the same who reported about bed bugs. I can see Booking.com has given 3 quality point to this property - Booking.com management you really need to consider this seriously when you say customer centricity & well being is important.

Location is good which is near to Colosseum, OTHER THAN THAT nothing is good about this property (at least with our room). Owner is not at all helpful and accommodating.

Bad service. There was no electricity and wifi was off suddenly, told them, but they did not come help get it fixed. The council tax was inconvenient as they don’t accept card payments…

The facilites were terrible and the apartment clearly needs renovation. The coffee capsules are not suitable for the coffee machine. Bathroom was small for a person with 1,70m take a shower. All bed are uncomfortable. The only good thing was the Location.

The location was amazing and Matteo was always available to answer your questions.

Not clean Poor facilities overall Very dangerous stairs to loft bedroom that had a storage area belonging to owner cobwebs on the bedroom window An average sized person could not stand up in bedroom without hitting head on roof, roof was very low, not appropriate for comfort Open sewer in backyard which was almost overflowing onto yard, water leaking into living area when raining Dirty curtains separating kitchen from living room, Not private, no curtains or blinds on any windows in property Bathroom door coming off hinges, no lock on inside, door was filthy with hand prints, really needed painting, door handles and updating No hangers in bathroom for towel and no facility for holding shampoo shower gels in shower Bathroom walls very dirty It is definitely not a comfortable place for 4 people There was no space to walk around living area when sofa bed was open No hangers or suitable place to put clothes or suitcases in bedroom Staircase would be far too dangerous to risk bringing suitcases up Totally unsafe for elderly or young persons to use staircase In living area totally insufficient space for suitcases or clothing (4 hangers in total Lighting totally insufficient. Landlord came on our first morning while we were still in bed to replace two used bulbs,we heard him on the premises fixing something in his other two apartments regularly, sometimes as early as 8am. Pane of glass missing from front door, safety issues at this place. Gate and front door never locked at property Could hear people from other Airbnb coming and going and talking from our apartment. Gate at entrance made loud banging sounds, electricity kept cutting out every time we put kettle and toaster on, had to go outside to restart it as landlord showed us how to fix on FaceTime Big hole in microwave, highly dangerous No hot water in kitchen taps. Fridge was iced over.Dirty cutlery in a dirty container.Overall the place was dirty & shabby uncomfortable

1. so dangerous as in the second floor there is a gap in the floor hidden by the curtain near the window, big enough for any person to fall in that gap. 2. Sofa bed is not great, literally sleeping on the metal rods 3. The cleaners came early before checkout scheduled time, and basically I am forced to vacate the property.

WATCH OUT! The apartment is FULL of bed bugs! The owner pretends like he doesn't know but he has become aware multiple times! When we found out he blamed the cleaning lady and pretended he didn't know which was clearly a lie. Wouldn't recommend. Think twice before booking here. You won't receive any help and the host will ignore all issues.

Placement was good, but you will go home with bed bugs.

Apartment wasn’t clean. It smelled from moisture dampness issues. There is no outdoor courtyard that’s pictured online. There was no toilet paper so we had to buy our own and other items you would expect for the money you have paid. We accidentally left several valuable things in the apartment, tried contacting the owner and has ignored all correspondence to keep our possessions.
