My room was not really soundproof, you could hear the music from the clubs nearby in the room. For me it was totally okay as I have no difficulty with sleeping in an environment like this, but for sensitive people it probably is not the best (the hostel provides free earplugs though :)).

Wonderful historical building, stylish and nice furniture, perfect location (!), very comfortable beds, super clean bathrooms, nice staff - I would definitely reccomend it!

Beautiful interior, very clean, friendly workers, nice breakfast. All in all i had a great experience with this hostel. It is very quiet and good to calm down, not very socializing so good for work and focus. It is right at the center of Trieste so everything you need is a couple of meters away. In front of the hostel is a parking place from 20 to 8 o clock it is free, sundays are also free, every other hours costs 1 Euro.

Its inclusive breakfast had very few options (scrambled eggs, toast/jam, some cold cuts, cheese, some cereal) but anyway it was enough to get me started! Keep in mind it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator (in case this is an issue for anyone)

I chose this hostel b/c of its location (18 min by foot from the train station) & its inclusive breakfast (scrambled eggs, toast/jam, some cold cuts, cheese, some cereal). The rooms are spacious (w/ high ceilings) with individual lockers; the beds a bit wider than normal and VERY comfy; cozy kitchen facilities; a lovely large sitting room & clean bathrooms. The area around this hostel is just steps from bars & restaurants, 18 minutes up to the Cathedral / Castillo -- I was pleased with my choice & highly recommend it! Kind staff, nice furniture and equipment in historical building + great location near the Golf of Trieste and Piazza Unità d'Italia. Everything was super clean and the place has such a good vibe. Really recommend it. The best hostel where I ever been!

the only thing I can think of is that the floors in the bedrooms are a little creaky so can disturb you when sleeping, but otherwise this place was absolutely awesome. would 100% recommend and Trieste is a beautiful place to visit!

best hostel we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was done so well, great location, chill atmosphere, comfy beds, great ventilation, awesome fit out, great kitchen with dishwasher and awesome chill out space. Many hostels are hard to spend time in your room, but this one was lovely and just perfect.

No air conditioning - only fans - so was very hot at night. Also right next to a bar playing very loud music.
