The convention is set amongst the hills, quiet and has a wonderful view from the balcony. The staff - Monica in particular are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

The rooms need some soundproofing but they are working on it.

Convento San Bernardino is in a great location close to the Piediluco lake and Marmore waterfalls. The staff is always available for any request, and they also provide a tour of the building where they explain its history and the future project. The rooms are simple, spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious with a very varied choice of food.

Wonderful hosts who were extremely kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Comfortable, beautiful and clean accomodation with well preserved history. The location is slightly out of town but adds to the peacefulness of the stay. The breakfast was an amazing start to the day. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend.

An amazing experience staying in this beautiful monastery. Very good facilities, good Italian breakfast which was enjoyed in the monastery garden. We were given a tour of the church and a brief introduction to the history of the monastery.

The room was of a good size,it had a mini fridge too but the amazing part is the balcony. It's big and when you wake up and you open the doors to it you are literally immersed in nature: trees and you just hear the birds chirping. For breakfast they have a nice choice of homemade yummy cakes,croissants, and for the savoury side with bread and some ham and different cheese too. The staff did us a mini tour to explain us the history of the convent which was really interesting too. It's great if you want to visit the Marmore falls (they give you a 4euros voucher to visit it) Terni, Piediluco lake, Narni and Spoleto. We loved every bit of our stay and we are sure we will return in the future.

Very friendly staff. The small excursion they made in the (ex-)convent. Had all the same things in the bathroom like in the 4-star hotel. Room was furnished modest, but felt yourself cosy. Breakfast was good. Had small fridge in the room.

The building and location are beautiful, and the staff are very friendly. We were also given a tour of the history of the venue and the gorgeous small church that belongs to the original part of the building.

The gracious and kind Vanessa, who allowed us to check in early after a hot walk in the Via di Francesco. She also prepared a “breakfast basket” for us since we were leaving very early to walk (before breakfast was served at the Convent). The room was clean, spacious, air conditioned, with a fridge and a balcony. A lovely setting just a 15 minute walk from Arrone (0.8 miles). Our nicest place in the Cammino so far!

Super friendly and helpful staff Quiet location. Modest as it is in an demonstrated convent. Great 15th century building. Superb breakfast. Simple yet very comfortable rooms with wonderful outdoor space. A short interesting tour of the old church.
