It smelled a little if you opened the window.

We only spent the night in the room, for that it was perfect. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The windows opened to an inner court so it was silent.

All in all the room was okay, just felt a little bit basic, there was a balcony but no table/chairs to sit on, which was a shame. There's a bar underneath the room, so it's quite noisy in the evening and early night.

Central location, 10 minute walk from St. Lucia train station. The place was as advertised, clean and nice room, shared bathroom also clean. Staff were nice and welcoming. Bed was also quite comfortable.

How loud the door was, and the lock was tough to open quietly. One of the power points did not work, and so we only had one working power point.

The room amenities stated it had air conditioning. I don’t know if the air conditioner was disabled because of it being May or broken but it did not work for our stay. We disliked this because the room did get muggy and we would have appreciated the air conditioner or fan. Especially because we booked the room with the expectation of an air conditioner. I know many people would say open the window! And we did just that during the week, but on the weekends the bars along the canal go wild and are too loud to have the window open. In fact we had to play rain sounds on our phones to drowned out the bars. I don’t fault the facility for the noise, many locations in Venice can be loud on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s more of a heads up and an air conditioner could have helped dull the noise. Like I said before, the shared bathroom was always kept clean. Except the cleaner always cleaned around 8am when everyone was trying to get ready. This delayed everyone using the washroom in the mornings which was very inconvenient. This would be my top recommendation for the facility, please change the time the cleaner cleans the only bathroom on the floor. Also, during our stay the people we shared the bathroom with would take it for hours. Sometimes we wouldn’t get to use the bathroom before bed or in the morning because they took so long. I know many accommodations in Venice are shared bathrooms but it definitely was a challenge for us. But even with these few dislikes we did like our room and the area!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Corte Loredana. The room we stayed in was the double bed with canal view and shared bathroom. The room was spacious, it had high ceilings with exposed beams, it was simple yet tasteful. It was very clean and the bed, pillows, and blankets were comfortable. We loved the canal view from our window, it was so beautiful and worth the extra to get the view! The shared bathroom was also spacious, large shower, and always kept clean with cleaners arriving to clean it daily. The location was great, not many people around so it felt quite which was nice because most of Venice is so busy. There also were plenty of restaurants and shops within a 1 minute walk to visit. It was also a 10 minute walk from a port where we got a water bus for pick up and drop off. Overall would stay again!

Like I said, this is not a fancy or flashy hotel, but it is all that you need. I would maybe spring for a private bathroom for more privacy.

The room was a clean, safe place to lay our heads. It is not flashy or fancy, but it did the job. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which was cleaned 3 times a day and was always available when we needed. The bed is comfortable. The location is in Canneregio, which was a bonus for us. this area is a bit cheaper than the more expensive areas of Venice, but it is still just as easy to get anywhere in Venice. Overall, this is a good way to have a comfortable place to sleep without breaking the bank. The staff is very nice and attentive via WhatsApp.

The room is up one flight of stairs and there is no lift. The heater was permanently on and you couldn’t turn it off and when you opened the windows to cool down bugs came in because no fly screens. Also the bed was very uncomfortable and extremely noisy. Whenever you moved while lying down it sounded like you were rolling around on aluminium foil.

The room was spacious and overlooked the canal which was lovely. The check in went smoothly. The shared bathroom worked ok and we never had to wait to use it but we don’t think the place was very full when we stayed. The wifi was good. The neighbourhood was lovely lots of wine bars and restaurants around. We recommend the breakfast at the cafe just across the canal with the red awnings.

Did not like the stuff who received us for cheking. He was not friendly at all and even corrected my English. Was very off and odd. Luckily, we did not have to interact with him after the check in. Was very uncobfortable and changed our happy and positive mood.

Not having private bathroom. I consider other guests to finish quickly but they not the same. One toilet for a few people is not enough. A small coffee station would also be nice. No fridge or glasses

While it's a budget accommodation, it would be nice to have a kettle and mugs in the room to enable guests to make their own coffee and tea.

Great value - the room was spacious and comfortable, and overall much nicer than I was even expecting for the price. The location was also great, in a quieter area with great restaurants and bars close. Check in was quick and easy, communication with staff was also good. I highly recommend staying here.
