I was missing the bottled water in the room and since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, maybe some small gesture (like a glass of wine or so) would be a nice touch :)

Right in the middle of it all, beautifully located, great terrace overlooking the center, and a very helpful manager (the lady from Czech, apologize I forgot the name) who came out with umbrella for us to the parking lot, since it was raining! Lovely breakfast.

Our stay in Corte San Lorenzo was great. The location is very good cause it’s right in the Sassi but also very close to the outside of the city so perfect if you have a car and you need to park it. Our room was also great. Very tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Our hosts were adorable and they prepared us a very tasty breakfast every morning. The terrace on top of the house is amazing and beautiful with plants everywhere. I highly recommend staying here if you go to Matera.

We loved our room at Corte San Leonardo! Our host, Tina, is a wonderful person and was most helpful. Iva, her assistant, is also great and together they provided us with scrumptious food every morning. The location is excellent and has a nice view of the street. The room is quiet and very comfortable with an amazing shower.

Nothing! Well, to be picky, I'd like a bigger closet.

Our room was very clean, had lovely linens and was nicely decorated. The location was great and communication regarding parking was very helpful. Eva served a lovely breakfast each morning including gluten free items for me in the little courtyard. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again if we are ever lucky enough to go back to Matera.

Lovely and spacious room, very convenient location. The hosts were very accommodating as we would always wake up a bit later for breakfast than we should have, and they even allowed a small delay when checking out.
