The staff were so kind! Also, kitchen is clean, you find shared food always and there is someone to help every time. Location was great, very near to La spezia Station. I really enjoyed my stay in Costello.

Unfortunately our room is located directly in front of the main entrance and the reception hallway so at night, you can hear everything from the outside even with earplugs on.

The hostel is located in a very strategic position near the main train station which is perfect if you're visiting cinque terre. It is also surrounded by various shops and restaurants. The hostel is very clean and they provide you with towels and locks for the locker, free of charge. They also provide various breakfast options. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. They welcomed me very cheerfully and offered recommendations and advices for my trip.

Its very loudy. You hear everything in your bed if you wanna sleep but somebody having drinks or talking in the common area. Also shared bathroom with men and women and its very busy in the mornings.

Very beautiful place and staff was super nice and helpful! Bedsheets clean and nice. Free coffee and nice terrace. Location super good! Its a perfect place for 1-2 nights.

- The toilets only being inside the showers complicates things a little during rush hours (evening and morning). - It is a bit pricey for what it is (a hostel bed) but I guess this is the new reality nowadays.

It’s been a while since I stayed there but it’s been on my mind ever since so I decided to come back and write this review. Since the moment I enetered the hostel I was made to feel at home, the owner Andrea was so kind, remembered my name right away and gave lots of tips for seeing Cinque Terre. The volunteers working here were also the sweetest. The hostel is small and the outside area is really nice so you always end up sitting there all together. After a couple of days there we ended up feeling like an old group of friends.

They don’t have enough bathrooms. You have to wait for people to finish their shower, so you can use a toilet seat and this can take forever.

The staff is super friendly and eager to help. Since the moment you step in, you feel welcomed.

Everything was perfect!

It's not the cheapest, but definitely the best and nicest hostel I've stayed at! Incredible the things they offer for free like coffee, cereal breakfast, cookies etc... Everything looks super nice, spacious and new, they have a nice terrace, it's super clean, beds are very comfortable and stable, the stuff is very friendly and helpful.

The top bunk was very high up, it was fine for me but if your funny about heights just something to be mindful of.

Hotel employees were extremely friendly and helpful! The pasta night was so nice and helped me to meet other travellers. Rooms were very clean and had a beautiful balcony to enjoy.

If anything, there’s often a queue for the bathroom

It has a lovely homely feel. The staff and volunteers are so kind and welcoming. Andrea even offered to take me to the train station on his scooter when he was concerned I’d miss my train! They offer free breakfast and often have free pesto pasta dinners to bring guests together.
