    Third bed..

Very beautiful and clean country house in beautiful surroundings. The garden and the view are just amazing. Easy to explore the surroundings by car. One minor point is the third bed which is not very comfortable. It is a sofa converted into a bed. But overall a very pleasant stay.

I cannot find anything that could be improved. The owners did everything to make the facility both pleasant and comfortable.

The apartments are located on the first floor, with spacious rooms and elegant bathrooms. Additionally, there are two beautiful guest rooms on the ground floor. The house is surrounded by a vast garden with large lawn areas. Guests can enjoy a delightful and authentic breakfast.

The balconies of the rooms are connected, if this matters to you.

The host and staff, the breakfast, the rooms and the locally made wine were all exceptional. The mansion is something special, and there is a beautiful view to the garden and surrounding area from the rooms.

That we had to leave. ...and probably the squeaky bed and sofa.

Everything!! The villa is charming and freshly renovated! One can notice that is loved and well kept. The garden offers great views to Empoli and some perfect hidden spots to have your morning coffee. The entrance gate is worth to be mention individually. From the first seconds when you first stop in front of the main entrance, you get this feeling of a beautiful fairytale you gonna dive in. Giulia and all the staff are extra kind, very helpful and attentive. The restaurant suggestions was a hit! We loved bistecca allá Fiorentina in "Donna Riccarda" suggested by Giulia. Still remembering the perfect cured, grilled taste.

    Nothing of note.

The location was idyllic and the view from the room was terrific. Guilia, the owner was lovely and we had long discussions about the history of the villa and her family. Giulia was welcoming and accommodating and we felt very much at home there.

    Nothing

I would give 6 stars for everything if it would be possible. We stayed in Villa for six days. I can only describe our stay and experience as exceptional. Villa is located near Empoli, you can reach the town easily. But Villa itself is a very quite and relaxing place situated on top of the hill with a wonderful view of the town below. The Villa itself is a masterpiece, fully restored with a very personal touch and attention to details. Room was marvelous, spacious with access to a big terrace. It has very big bad, nice shower and air conditioner. Breakfast was also wonderful with home made croissants and sweets and good coffee. Villa has a history which you can hear from the owner, Maria, who is very friendly and is a great host. She offered to held a dinner for the guests while we were staying, which contained dishes from local farmers. It was very delicious and can compete with the best restaurants. All in all, we advise you to visit this wonderful place to enjoy peace and quiet.

    Nothing.

Truly stunning villa with beautiful views of the city of Empoli. It had amazing decorative pieces relating to the family home and hosts were informative about the houses history and the antiques. The host Maria Giulia was great, very friendly and gave use advice on where to eat and prepared an excellent breakfast. The room was a good size, with views overlooking the gardens and city. We were there when it was 42 degrees and the air conditioning was excellent. Very good location to get the train to both Pisa and Florence, however you will need a car to get to the station with is about a 10 minute drive away. The villa would make an excellent wedding venue- wished we had stayed here before we got married- would have happily had our wedding here!

    Everything was absolutely perfect

One of, if not the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. I had a positive feeling after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, but this place completely exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely magical. The beautiful villa with big garden and the most amazing view over the valley and mountains, the luxurious and clean room, the breakfast… Everything was made perfect. And above all, lovely Giulia and the other staff made this stay so wonderful with their amazing and kind service, always making sure all my needs were met!

Everything was beyond our expectations. ie none

Beautiful estate with a lovely view of the area, quiet. Extremely warm host. We communicated with the host via WhatsApp and she was extremely responsive and helpful with suggestions. e.g. We didn't realize that the outlets were three-pronged and our European adapters were not fitting. We contacted Maria Giulia and she immediately gave us two to use during our stay. Day one we drove to Florence, parked free near a shopping mall and caught the streetcar to downtown. Day two we drove 5 min (by car) to the Empoli train station and caught a train to Florence. The train was frequent and very convenient and comfortable. It dropped us off right at Old Town of Florence. The room was impeccably clean, bed extremely comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the area from our windows. Breakfast was excellent with freshly baked Italian cake, Italian cold cuts, cheese, jam, cereal, fruit, fresh juice and of course excellent cappuccino. Although Italian breakfast normally does not include eggs, they offered some to us knowing that we're from Canada.

No dislikes about the property. Empoli train station is well connected to easily visit Florence & Siena etc, so a great location to stay. You can walk from the Villa to the station, it does take 30 minutes so a car would be useful, there is good parking near the station and it’s easy to drive to. There are not many taxis in Empoli.

A beautifully restored old villa, still run by the family, fascinating history of owners who had some of the glasswork factories of Empoli, famous for the green glass manufacture. Rooms are large and fully furnished, landscaped gardens, which look down over Empoli, although a B&B, one night we had an evening meal which they prepared for their guests, 4 lovely courses and we had some of their own produced wine. A memorable stay, and one of my favourites ever.

Villa is a beautiful and tastefully renovated. Room is functional and decorated with great attention to detail. The beautiful bathroom is large with a bathtub and with a view of the garden. Very friendly owner takes great care to ensure that every guest feels comfortable and welcome. Breakfast is perfect. We enjoyed lovely balcony (which is "shared" with other guests) it offers a perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Empoli is a charming town in Tuscany... perfect to explore the beautiful countryside, and visit nearby cities such as Florence, Pisa, and Siena... You can take train to Florence, the train station is few minutes drive away. We loved it! We will definitly return.

Villa Corniola is a real insider tip, a little hideaway, and so exceptional because you simply feel at home in an old magnificent mansion with a totally relaxed atmosphere. This is the perfect combination. Located near Empoli, it is an ideal starting point for many places in Tuscany - whether you want to hike in the surrounding area (e.g. to San Miniato) or explore the nearest cities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano...) by car or train. You will always want to come back to rest in the beautiful, sophisticated rooms, to relax after a busy day, to savour the tranquillity of the villa and the spacious garden, and then to start the next day again with a great breakfast. We would very much like to come back.

Beautiful location, beautiful property and beautiful villa. The breakfast was fantastic, the beds were comfortable and they produce their own wine and olive oil that are delicious. I honestly can say that it’s the most wonderful accommodation I have ever stayed in and I can highly recommend it to everybody who seeks for more than just “a place to crash”. With entering the gate you are put into a different century. The view of the mansion together with the wonderful garden area will take your beath. The mansion is perfectly restored and completely renovated. But as original as it looks, it’s also completely new and meets every modern standard. My room, which was a superior double room, looked brand new and was very tidy. It had a stunning, originally restored painted ceiling and it was decorated with some ancient furniture that one nearly doesn’t want to touch. The bathroom was big, with a huge shower area. Next to the most comfy bed are power sockets - even a USB slot. The fridge is completely quiet - so no need to plug it out at nights! Also, I had access to the wonderful terrace with my own set of table/chairs. That allowed me to have wonderful evenings/nights outside with a lovely glas of wine. I recommend: Try their very own organic Chianti. They grow it right next to the mansion. It’s rich, fruity and easy to drink ;) The heart of this family-run B&B is Maria Giulia! She is the most lovely and wonderful person/host one can think of. Always open for a delightful chat and up to give you recommends about where to go, where to park, etc. She really makes you feel like home. I cannot imagine a better and more perfect place in Tuscany. It definitely wasn’t the last time that I was there and had a wonderful chat with Maria Giulia. GRAZIE MILLE, Maria Giulia! ♥️
