Just great. A lovely country house a little away from the city center. The car park at Porta Santa Lucia (which is also the car park for a Coop supermarket) is 5 minute drive away and makes it super convenient to explore Urbino. At the same time you can relax in the middle of nowhere afterwards. Friendly staff, good breakfast (at least for Italian standards - when staying longer you might miss a little bit of a variety).

Whilst no fault of the property there was clay pigeon shooting close by on the Saturday afternoon/ early evening we arrived and again on Sunday morning when we left so not sure how often shotgun shooting happens in this location

Very difficult to get taxis to/from the property, particularly if you don't speak Italian. I would recommend renting a car so you can easily get back and forth between the town.

The house is in the perfect location if you have a car, only a few minutes drive from the center of Urbino. It has an amazing view of the surrounding hills and a magnificent sunset! It is fully restructured, so everything inside is new. The apartment where we stayed had a fully equipped kitchen, so it is perfect also for the ones who want to cook. The breakfast was really amazing, with a variety of salty and sweet food, as well as the food from that area.

It was certainly at the top end of our budget. Quite noisy between the rooms - you could hear next door.

Lovely modern apartments in a relatively new build, upmarket agriturismo. Beautiful grounds and surroundings with lots of wild flowers, stunning views. Swimming pool (just warm enough in mid-June). Spacious bedroom, comfy bed, modern bathroom and good sitting area with modern kitchen - though it didn't look like many people were cooking (no oil, salt etc left behind). Friendly helpful staff (they fixed up a day's walking for us) and nice breakfast on the terrace. It's about 15 minutes into the parking in Urbino so a drive if you want to go back for dinner. Overall, a good option if you don't mind being out of town and want to enjoy the view and the pool.

my only criticism would be I think every apartment should have a welcome folder outlining all the rules of the property and all useful information for example about location of the washing machine which we were not told about.

Loved everything about this property , the location amongst stunning countryside , views to die for. Beautiful pool and plenty of secure onsite parking. Apartment was exceptionally clean and I’m very fussy . Well equipped kitchen and air conditioning. Breakfast was great and above all the staff were fabulous especially the young girl that always seemed to be on duty with a lovely smile on her face , I’m sorry I never got her name. Highly recommend. Very close to Urbino .

It was a bit noisy at times in the apartment and I honestly believe they should put in a coffee machine at the breakfast hall. We couldnt get enough of their excellent coffee!

Not only was the location absolutely stunning, the country house was also fabulous. The apartment was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. But what nade the place stand out was the staff, they were knowledgeable and gave great tips so even though it rained a lot we had plenty to do.

We spent 3 nights at Ca' Balsomino and garbage was never collected from the rooms.

Very nicely renovated and well kept country house at a 5 min drive from Urbino, in a quiet location surrounded by gentle hills and the occasional fawn and boar. Breakfast features home-cooked cakes and high quality cured meats. Apartments are clean, rooms are wide and stay at Ca' Balsomino is overall the most enjoyable.

The room was clean and new. The person at the reception was nice. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The only thing is the weather. We could not see anything at all from the guest house because of the deep fog. It is not the guest house's fault at all, but we should have visited in spring or summer. Urbino is close to the guest house.

Could hear the guests in the next room especially the younger ones when playing but this stopped later in the evening. Breakfast was a little basic and we didn't understand the need to have staff serve everything at breakfast as this was the only stay of many in Italy over the past 5 months where this was the case.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent. The location was very quiet and scenic and only a short 10 minute drive to town. Though need a car to stay here.

The only issue - breakfast is not continental, but have to tell ladies what to put on a plate. not very convenient but not a major issue

everything was great. very warm welcome, comfortable rooms with all the necessary. We loved the location and area around house so much, lovely view and so quiet around, we slept really well.
