We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Gorgeous view of the harbour. If your room does not have a view to the sea, you will enjoy it at breakfast. Amazing breakfast. Enjoyed the housecoat and slippers.

AustraliaThe door to the balcony did not open fully and we had to squeeze through. Being off season the gardens and pool were not that well tended to.
The dining both at breakfast and at night was fantastic - compliments to the chef! The room with a view over the sea was gorgeous with a lovely bathroom. The hotel is positioned so well and is close to the port where activities can be done. Central to some exceptional history.

Austriathe staff said, that the air conditioner will be repaired, but it didn’t worked the three days - Breakfast: eggs and bacon were cold Bread was dry Quality was not good for a four-star hotel and not a lot of choice The room was not comfortable (no tablecloth like it showed on the pictures) and it was loud and echoed The food was not good present The pool was dirty The room was not cozy, so many little things where missing (pictures, hook for hand-towel,..) Furniture was cheap (door difficult to open) All in one: this hotel is so much overpriced! The only good thing was the view. This is so disappointing

DenmarkWay to expensive for what you get in terms of pool, services and room. Also the spaces outside and the pool are not so clean and the room is too basic for this price (suite 13: bathroom way to small , missing shelves to leave toiletries etc. The room was with empty minibar and even bottled water missing, missing something to sit comfortably inside. Pity because this place has a tremendous potential but missing loving & caring.

ItalyIt was just opened and clearly work wasn’t finished. Even the room still needed painting finished off, and there are barely any staff working there. Breakfast was really limited for a 4 star hotel, not even any fresh fruit. Restaurant and bar just opened but no one was around really. Our balcony door was also broken - it didn’t close - and couldn’t be fixed. Room swap was terrible so we stayed where we were. Location means a 1 mile walk to town, so better to drive for dinner. No robes provided for walking to the pool, which is necessary considering that guests must pass by the reception.
View from the room was excellent (room 12). Staff were really nice. Easy parking and nice elevator.
