I would have hoped for fresh towels or a mini clean more than every 4 days. That's the only negative

Our room wasn't cleaned throughout our entire stay of six days, which wasn’t too bad but a bit irritating.

The interior and especially the bed was amazing, great little garden outside and astounishing food in the restaurant. Lovely people working there.

Beautifull location, peacefull and quiet away from bussy streets. Old rustical and very nicely renovated house with cosy and natural spirit of Karst. Clean, fresh, tastfully decorated. Very tasty domestic breakfast, some of best bread we ever had. We overall felt realy welcome, cosy and relaxed although we stayed only for a night. We didn't mind (realy) short walk from parking to property, it actually added some charm to the experience. Terrace looked amazing for food or drink but it was winter and was closed. Must be nice on summer nights. Very helpfull and friendly staff.

Just sorry I didn't realize the restaurant was open on Friday night, the only night I would have had a chance to try it. Entirely my own fault.

I loved everything about the breakfast. The bread from Pagna in the city of Trieste was fantastic. The scrambled eggs, made to order, were fantastic. Good yogurt, granola, fresh fruit.

There's nothing not to like! Except, maybe, the location: it's OK if you travel by car but it could get tricky to get around if you're expecting to use public transportation.

Everything during our long-weekend stay was perfect: the rooms, the food at the restaurant, the friendliest ever staff that met all our requests!

There isnt anyting!!

Everyting was wonderful, the staff, the lobby, the room, the bathroom, the food. Everything. I could come with the car in front of the building to get the luggages faster. There was parkins spaces like 100 m away from the accomodation and it was perfect for us. I will sure come again if i will have to pass through Trieste.

I would advise arriving at daylight and checking out carefully the location/parking instructions sent by the host, as google maps indicates the wrong location and the town has an intricate structure.

Lovely place with modern facilities. The room was spacious, clean, and with stylish decor. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had modern amenities. The host is friendly and breakfast was tasty.

Wonderfully renovated room. The optimal number of storage shelves and wardrobe, that create comfort. Big comfortable bed, spacious shower. The staff very nice and polite. Quiet location. Buffet breakfast, including a hot dish of your choise. All fresh and very tasty.

My only regret was that the restaurant wasn't open the days when I stayed there. But that's just another good reason to get back.

Crocevia is really one of those places you hope to find, when you're travelling, but which are rare to come across. It's not a fancy place, but it's a place where I instantly felt at home, and where I instantly wanted to come back another time. Set in a quiet and authentic village, the place is just full of charm and offers comfortable rooms, great breakfast and an extremely helpful staff. You can feel that the owners care about the details but also care about giving the place some character, so it feels like a home more than just an anonymous hotel. Highly recommended if you want to take some hikes around the beautiful area. The city of Trieste is also easily reachable by local bus.

There was a little mishap when there was no keys deposited for us on arrival so we had to wait an hour with the kids late that evening.

Excellent hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, clean and nicely renovated property in the middle of the village. Great customer support in any area - dining out, beaches, places to visit. The dinner at the property was one of the highlights. Great food, tasteful design, excellent service.

The renovated stone house in a beautiful village was great, the staff was friendly and very attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good. We had dinner when we first came, it was very delicious. We were very satisfied with everything. Hope to come again 🫶
