Beautiful room. Great location. Next door to an amazing museum. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast included - which was great. Happy hour every afternoon.

This was the 4th time I have stayed here and really love this family owned hotel. Everyone working there is very helpful and friendly and it is in a quiet location but close to the Duomo and museums. I will look forward to my next visit!

I didn't realize there were quite so many stairs up to the reception. Luckily, there was a gentleman arriving at the same time, and he helped me upstairs with my suitcase. Upon leaving, Angelo helped me back downstairs, and ordered a taxi for me.

I wanted a hotel close to another hotel where an evening wedding was taking place, and this one was just a two minute walk away. As it turned out, it is in a wonderful location, very near the Ponte Vecchio. The staff was incredibly nice and responsive. Before my trip, they answered all my emails immediately - I never had to wait more than a day. And once I arrived, they were very helpful - both with directions and with suggestions on where to eat, what to see, etc. I especially enjoyed my interactions with Angelo, when I arrived late at night, and with Leonardo, during the day. As a woman traveling alone, this was very important to me. Also, the breakfast was excellent and the dining room staff very pleasant and friendly.

There was an obligatory flight of stairs from the street. Not a problem for us, but might be for some.

Location was great—5-10 minutes walking for most tourist areas but relatively quiet for sleeping (especially the rear facing rooms). We easily walked from the train station to the hotel with our luggage (backpacks). The breakfast was great. We loved the made to order cappuccinos! Happy hour with snacks and drinks was also appreciated after a long day sight-seeing. This hotel is just right—not too fancy, very comfortable, and with all the amenities we needed.

The shower has only a partial glass barrier - so a lot of water splashes out onto the floor which can be VERY dangerous.

I really liked the size of our room. We had ample drawer and closet space as well as a sitting area.

Excellent location, well presented. Offered free hot drinks and cake in the afternoons and a happy hour. Receptionists extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Close walk to all the major attractions. The staff were excellent. We ate at 2 restaurants they recommended, which were both delicious.

We stayed at hotel Davanzati with two adults and two kids (8 & 4). I can’t say enough about the hotel and the staff. It is a great location, the staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are a good size. They have complimentary breakfast, tea time and happy hour. If you go with a stroller, I suggest bringing a light one because there are a lot of stairs.

Everything! Friendly reception, so sincere. Loved the old world look with up to date technology. All staff were awesome. Loved the extra amenities, tea tine, happy hour, breakfast, etc. Location was great; quiet area but easy and quick to get to busy areas

Location is excellent. Wonderful coffee at breakfast everyday. Staff are very warm and friendly. Only downside was rooms aren’t very modern, they maintain the traditional old look. Overall was a great stay.
