Hotel Des Alps was a wonderful stay! The hotel is charming with an excellent view over the Dolomites. The room was very clean and cozy, well equipped for the cold temperatures. It is nearby to the bus stop which we used to access the property. It also has a walkway just nearby the hotel to get you into town. The staff were really wonderful, including the team in the restaurant. Breakfast was great, very extensive. Though we didn’t ski, the staff were helpful with their tips to explore Cortina as tourists despite not having a car. We look forward to coming back in summer!

There is nothing in the negative department. Just a few remarks to have in mind: - the hotel is right on the side of the road, meaning you will have to watch out every time you go out. At the end of the stairs you have directly the road, but with enough visibility, nothing dangerous. -if you plan on dining on the hotel it might be helpful to always make a reservation. I think it helps the staff as well to be better prepared and efficient, when they know how many people to expect. We haven't had any problems without a reservation either.

We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel. Everything was perfect for our needs. The staff is always present and helpful with everything that you need. The whole facility is perfectly clean and well maintained, they are cleaning the rooms daily as well. You need to let them know if you do not want it on a daily basis. You find Infos written near the reception about the facility, like: restaurant opening times, wellness area infos, menu, etc. The room design is nice and you have various options for lighting. You get both the cozy setup or the full light option as well. I was positively surprised by the shower, there was absolutely no water leakage outside of the shower cabin. For breakfast you have plenty of options, gluten-free as well. And breakfast comes with a nice view of the mountains. Their wellness area comes with a view as well, as is perfect after a full day on the trails. There is a jacuzzi, a wet sauna and dry one as well, plus a relaxation area.

It’s about a good 20 mins walk into town , we didn’t mind as there is a walkway/ cycle way right beside the hotel and it’s a lovely walk .

The flow in the shower was not uniform - sometimes hot water and sometimes cold. There were no vegetables at breakfast. The price was a little bit high, but it is common in Cortina

Bed. It had some shelf just over our heads so you need to watch out not to break your head in it.

Everything was perfect. A lot of kitchenware which was important to us, since we cooked at some times. Close to the road but very quiet, good sound isolation in the room. Sauna is at very affordable price: only 12€. Parking is spacious. Staff was very nice.

The location is excellent for discovering the area but also for the panorama it offers. The breakfast is extraordinarily tasty and varied. We recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant: very tasty dishes. Friendly and stylish staff. Free parking in front of the hotel.
