This place sits directly on Lake Como and 50 steps to the best on the water restaurant in town… So it gets 10 stars to start. Then the actual apartment is beautiful! Clean and so comfortable. The bed is perfect, the veranda is the best view of the lake. The staff is amazing and a waterfront breakfast is included!

Beautiful view of Lake Como from the balcony. Comfortable bed and room to relax in, kitchen and bathroom were clean. Breakfast at the bar downstairs was good and had friendly staff. Despite being above the bar we didn’t hear any noise.

Extra towels would have been nice. A washing machine would have been great. The shower could have been a little cleaner. It was looking a bit tired.

The location and view were exceptional. Not only did we have a balcony overlooking the lake but we had 3 other double windows that opened. The apartment was very spacious with plenty of charging outlets.

a lot of pigeons like to hang out on the awning over the balcony and bird poo gets everywhere. not Management's fault, but that's my only complaint haha the place is amazing.

the location and views can't be beat! very comfortable stay. Leandro was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. we loved walking to the market to get wine, fresh bread, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic, honey, cheeses, and crudo to watch the sunset most nights- highly recommend.

If I were to be picky, the apartment is a little noisy but that comes with being in such a good location.

The view of from the apartment was absolutely stunning! Breakfast was very generous which is served at the cafe downstairs. Friendly staff.

Struggled with the low beam above the bed. Husband kept hitting his head in the beam.

The location was amazing!! Bed was comfy. And the view was incredible!!

Parking in town is very limited. The multi level carpark gets full early and you have to wait for a spot to open up, however only two cars can wait at a time otherwise the road is blocked and you are moved on by an attendant and have to go around the town circuit again. There is free white line parking 200m down the road but again you have to be lucky to get one of those spots.

Location and view from the balcony was amazing. The hosts from the bar downstairs couldn't have been more helpful.

The view from the balcony was WOW, however there were birds roosting above and there were bird droppings on the floor of the balcony and furniture. You had to watch where you sat and stepped.

Check in was smooth, Michaela met us at the cafe Il Molo and walked us to the apartment, right nearby. Breakfast was good and convenient, and for dinner they reserved a table for us right on the water. We felt like VIPs since the wait for a table was incredibly long. The apartment was spacious (for a studio), the bed was comfy and the AC was excellent. The location could not have been better with stunning views and near the shops but still very quiet inside. It was one of the best locations in Varennna.

As other reviews have stated, it can be a bit noisy at night due to the restaurant next door but it really didn’t bother us too much. It was worth it for the location and comfort.

Lovely loft apartment in a fantastic location just metres from the lake. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast at Bar Il Molo was great and we ate dinner there every night too because the food was good and it was so convenient.

Nothing but amazing things to say about our stay! Great view, comfortable and spacious room, and right in the heart of the downtown area. The breakfast included from the nearby cafe was also delicious. We will be sure to book this place again when we come back to Varenna!

Floors were not clean. Air conditioner struggled to cool the loft bedroom.

Excellent location. Wide variety of great breakfast options from Bar Il Molo included in the price. Wonderful view of Lake Como from balcony. Other towns easily accessible by short ferry rides. Leandro was extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with.

Location, location, location. And fab breakfast next door with really helpful friendly staff. Lovely air conditioning - essential on a very hot weekend. Host met us with keys, and offered to help with taxis etc. Altogetherexcellent.

There was nothing I didn’t like!

I fell in love with this place, if it was a home I’d never leave! The view was perfection & so were the staff! Even after we left they have provided us with the most welcoming & wonderful experience. We left our jewellery behind after a stay in the spa (which they made absolutely beautiful for my birthday) The food was incredible from Bar Molo & the cocktails! Especially italia 90s. Every morning was bliss and the evening sunsets even better, super helpful with helping us find where we needed to go and even booking our taxis for us and giving train directions and information. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in in my life 🫶🏻
