Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SloveniaAs I have already read in previous comments, voices can be heard from adjacent rooms. The drain in the shower was blocked. Only the faucet in the shower should be descaled (poor water flow). The tiles in the shower are barely sticking to the wall.

United KingdomBedroom electric sockets are dated and so you need a different adapter than the usual EU one. That said, reception were able to provide on request so it wasn't an issue.
The bedrooms are clean and reasonable size. Shower is easy to operate and has a good water pressure. Bed Linens & towels were in good condition. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good.

HungaryAs we were traveling early next day, we had paid breakfast and asked them to pack it. Although we received a confirmation from when booking the property we were told it was not possible therefore the initial response from the staff was not professional but it was sorted after this therefore I would suggest not to pay for the breakfast if your travel early morning.
