Our amazing host Karina was available when we needed with some great suggestions on places to eat. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and even brought directly to our room when weather was bad. Highly recommend this place for a vacation in Tropea!

Very small BnB so if weather is not good enough to sit on the lovely terrace on rooftop then there is no other space/lobby but the room. Usually some free parking spots up the street. Highly recommend if you are healthy to climb the stairs and don't need a big typical hotel.

Local parking zones are very confusing. Parking is very expensive at least in comparison with CZ.

Excellent service, breakfast was always superb, the owner Karina was super friendly and helpful. The place is located at the entrance to the city center, a perfect location for exploring Tropea. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped.

Everything was perfect. The hostess and her partner were so so kind and sweet and built up this beautiful palazzo. The rooms were really clean and big, in the middle of the centre and the breakfast was the best we had this holiday. 10 out of 10.

It wasn’t an issue for us but the accommodation is up 2 flights of stairs. Leading to the roof terrace for your breakfast. No lift available.

Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. Delicious, homemade breakfast cooked to order by the delightful Karina. Room was spacious, modern and sound proofed. Located right at the edge of all the action, we never had far to go to get anywhere.

Outstanding location, one block away from the center of town, tons of restaurants at walking and very safe distance, convenient parking next door, full breakfast (fresh to order!) to suit all tastes, owners are knowledgeable, warm, and helpful as they guided us to the right places to visit and the right excursions to take. We loved our stay at Don Carlo. Karina and Carlo were the perfect hosts, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us a wonderful list of local recommendations which was very useful. The cooked breakfasts were a great way to start the day and we loved the rooftop terrace. Our room was clean and beautifully appointed, with a fabulous shower. We were even able to have our laundry done (at an extra cost). Don Carlo was a great base for us to explore Tropea, and we look forward to returning one day soon!

We loved this place, which is an easy downhill walk from the train station, and would go back to Tropea just to stay there again. The room was spacious and quiet, the bathroom had a good shower and the large bed was super comfy. Carlos and Katina are lovely people and recommended some really good places to eat. Then we get to the breakfasts on the rooftop terrace - wow! Being dull people we've got a running list of top breakfasts. These definitely go straight into the top 5, mainly because of Katina's amazing cooking. Cakes, savoury options, fresh orange juice and fruit, yoghurt, bread....... 😍👌

Accomodation was fantastic. Super clean and right in the centre of Tropea. The cherry on top was the hospitality of Carlo and Karina - such kind and welcoming people. The homemade breakfast by Karina was a standout for us, especially her homemade jams and pistachio cream! The room was very clean and we were able to park our hire car in the private garage which was very handy. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Tropea! Thank you Carlo and Karina 😊

This is our second visit to Don Carlo and it definitely won’t be our last! We absolutely love the central location, amazing hosts, comfortable modern furnishings and the delicious freshly cooked breakfast on the terrace! Huge thank you to Karina for all the recommendations for food, ice cream and drinks in the area! The avocado toast was especially delicious and the freshly baked croissants with Pistachio - best breakfast in Italy so far! See you again next year, hopefully for longer this time! ❤️

To make it a real luxury place: Bring some fine-tuning to the roof-top terrace (maybe this is just because we visited near the end of the season)

Definitely the best breakfast we ever had in an accomodation so far! Forget about huge buffets at hotels, the homemade breakfast from Karina is outstanding delicous! The B&B is very well maintaned, modern, cozy and clean! The location right at the beginning of the city center main road is great - the train station is just a few minutes away in walking distance. The roof-top terrace is a great place to start or end your day. Karina and Carlo are very kind hosts and helped us with every question! Clear recommendation, we will stay in this place again if we ever come back to Tropea one day! Thank you, Kathrin & Alex

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Roof top breakfast wonderful. I would recommend this place to all. Host and staff extremely helpful with some complicated arrangements, that were our own doing. Highly recommend.
