The rooms looked older than they do on the pictures. Although there was nothing specific that stood out it felt a bit unclean.

It does appear better on the pictures but overall it was good enough to stay the night. The staff were nice, the breakfast was okay. I think for the price paid it’s definitely worth the money and the location is great.

the staff in charge of reception at night was very rude to us, not letting us pay the city taxes with the card because “that was the law”, (not true). we almost had to go making a withdrawal at 4 am to pay it, all of this just before going to the airport, being in a rush. he finally let us pay with the card. so all of this trouble and bad treat for no reason.

The room smelled strongly of detergent, source of this was the bed from what I could conclude. AC didn't work and since I visited Bologna in august the temperature exceeded 30 degrees witch made the room unbearably warm. Noticed this after getting back from dinner which was quite late and I therefore didn't bother with complaining.

Friendly staff and great location. Quite reasonably priced comparing to the rest of the hotels in the same area. The bathroom was very clean and the view from my room was really nice.

hotel needs refresh as seems to be used long time, pipes a bit stock in bathroom, kettle burnt and staff not so willing to help with that (after two phone calls and a solution offered). No space for a safe luggage storage, they are stored in a hallway, publicly available.

Price, breakfast, room's cleaness and equipement were ok. Just regular, cheap place to stay. The location is worth to mention - it is close to city center and train station so perfect for a night stay when going further.

The room was quite small but a good value for the cost. As a solo traveler for a quick trip, it was perfect.

The hotel is very close to all the sights of Bologna and the staff were very accommodating with my late check out and luggage storage requests.

I was really looking forward to staying here, but was sorely disappointed with the lack of the hotel’s ability to control the temperature of the rooms. While the air conditioner in my room was “on,” the room was uncomfortably warm. Admittedly, it was not as hot inside as it was outside (my stay was during a severe heat wave), but it was warm enough that I broke out into a sweat at the slightest movement. When I inquired as to what could be done, I was told that the air conditioning was centralized and that it could not be adjusted. After a virtually sleepless night, I asked for a fan for the following night, which they provided, and with that turned on next to my bed, I was able to drift off without a problem. There are other things that the hotel could do to improve: 1) provide a plug for the bathroom sink so that one’s personal items are not in danger of falling into the drain, which has a rather large, cavernous opening; 2) provide more electrical sockets so that the charging of one’s devices is easier. 3) Get rid of the hideous decor in the reception area. The hotel is situated in an historic building, and the reception area would look better if it reflected its surroundings through warm, natural colors rather than white, gray, and silver.

The location is excellent—well within walking distance to the train station as well as to all the attractions of the city. The hotel is situated on an arcaded street with lots of places to eat, drink and shop within seconds or minutes of the entrance. The rooms are quiet and tastefully furnished with lovely high ceilings. The management have obviously invested in mattresses of excellent quality, which I very much appreciated. The bathrooms are new and immaculately clean with good lighting and a roomy shower stall. The shower nozzle provides a generous flow of lovely, soft water.

The room was advertised with a balcony, paid for a balcony, there was none, the window was looking at a abandoned yard. Was told that the hotel has only 1 (one) room with a balcony, yet, it was listed as offering rooms with balconies. The air conditioner wasn't working, so very hot. The bathroom is way too small. Nice hotel, but false advertisement.

You have to consider this hotel mainly for its central location and strategic position to visit the city center. Good value for money but do not expect anything fancy from this hotel: basic rooms (somehow old furniture) and essential facilities.

May 2024 stayed three nights, room 309. Third floor but easy to access with a lift large enough for two people , each with a carry-on bag and a backpack. Hotel staff were very helpful upon checkin. Our room was a bit unusual; two bathrooms, one with a toilet, bidet and sink (but had pipes in the wall for previous shower) and a second with a sink, toilet and tub with a shower wand attached to a wall rod but no shower curtain or splash panel. Lots of closet space and comfortable bed. We had breakfast included which offered a variety of meat/cheese, pastries, yogurt, toast, fruit, juices and coffee. Location is great for train terminal access and many of the attractions of Bologna. Some great restaurants and street entertainment made this an interesting and underrated stop in our Italian vacation. Would recommend this location to other travellers.

Really friendly staff, great location for the centre of Bologna and the main station. Comfortable, quiet and clean rooms. Plenty of choice for our daily continental breakfast.

Very small and basic room. Bathroom so tiny it was difficult to use the toilet. Bring earplugs, the hotel is right on a busy intersection with traffic and sirens through the night. Sparse breakfast with no allergen-free options.

Only advantage is that it is quite central. But there are many other hotels nearby that are probably a better experience.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel the staff was incredibly kind to my friends and me, they made the whole booking process very easy, every time we had a question and needed something they were very efficient. The room was very clean and had all the facilities required. If I come back to Bologna I will stay there again!
