There are two showers in the apartment, one in each bathroom. The first shower has a normal height shower head, but is a bit small. The second shower does have a shower head, but you have to hold it up yourself, as there isn't a place to hang it up at a height above your head. There was also a lot of traffic and road noise throughout each night. Carlo provided earplugs, but I'd recommend bringing your own noise cancelling headphones if those would work better for you.

Our host, Carlo, was so helpful leading up to our trip, as well as during our stay. He reached out to say hi and asked if there was anything he could help with for our time in Palermo. He sent MANY great food and activity suggestions. Check-in instructions were thorough and straight-forward. The apartment was exactly as advertised in the photos and very clean. We very much enjoyed the privacy of the courtyard balcony. It was great to be able to do laundry part way into our trip. I traveled with my husband and 4 other family members. The apartment was spacious enough for us to spread out in the evenings and have our own space after each day of exploring together.

Everything! Amazing apartment ' home from home'. Excellent facilities and so big!!!! Great size for a family and so clean. There is a very good supermarket just 5 minutes walk away. The owners (Carlo & Sonia) were amazing and SO helpful with information, directions and any questions. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lovely period style apartment located in the downtown area of Palermo (5 story apartment blocks) with 4 bedrooms, 3 with air conditioners, 2 bathrooms and a rear balcony where clothes easily dried overnight. Simply furnished with everything you need. Carlo went above and beyond to help (great written English, no so much spoken but was not a problem)

This is a great apartment to stay in. We stayed with 4 adult guests. Carlo gave welcome snacks and wine. All fine details were addressed here. Carlos helped us sort out parking.. The place over the road was a rip off The apartment is a very stylish 1920's style with an airy balcony. Location is good for the city centre it took us a day to work out how to use the bus network but after that was really easy.

About 1.5km from the historic centre of Palermo a four bedroomed two bathroomed comfortable apartment. There is a kitchen, lounge and shaded balcony. it is 10 minutes from major bus routes to airport and train station. Fantastic restaurant “Luci e Calici” just round the corner.

The apartment is wonderful — spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and charming. The kitchen is well-stocked, including the owners’ delicious homemade marmalade. We loved eating on the terrace. The apartment is located on a street but it gets quiet in the evening. The location is excellent, with lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We didn’t drive into Palermo (it seems crazy to do that) and the airport shuttle stops close to the apartment. Carlo, the owner, was very attentive to our needs.

Duchi was in the centre of Palermo where the theatre and the cathedral were just about 15-minute walk away. There were supermarkets nearby where you can get all you need. The apartment was spacious, immaculate and full of tasteful decorations and touchups. Carlo was a very friendly host who met us in person and offered a lot of valuable information including attractions and restaurant recommendation that saved us a lot of time. I highly recommend Duchi to all travellers in Palermo.
