We were in the Leonardo Apartment and I cannot feel that this place is suitable for children, particularly the mezzanine floor containing the two single beds (where you would logically put the kids as the only other bed was a comfortable double bed downstairs). The stairs to the mezzanine were steep, narrow and without hand rails and the mezzanine was so close to the ceiling you couldn't stand, plus it had various hard corners and edges protruding out of the ceiling above the beds. One bed had little more then 2 feet of space above the pillow and the roof. We ended up sleeping up there ourselves with the children in the double bed on the ground floor, the risk of either of them sitting up and smacking into the ceiling was a bit to much.

Tucked away 3 stories up (well, 4 stories up by lift and then 1 flight of stairs down) the apartment was quiet and only 2 minutes from the Duomo and several major metro lines. We were delayed 4 hours due to a train cancellation from Tirano and the communication with our host and their willingness to rearrange their timing to still have someone meet us was incredibly helpful and much appreciated.

Difficult to check in and check out because of the glass stairs. Stairs are quite scary. Definitely not suitable for people with big/heavy luggages.

The stairs down to the rooms were challenging. Glass and white steel stairs look nice until you are dragging a suitcase trying to walk down them. The stairs to the loft were steep and small. This is not a room for folks with mobility issues.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms are in the heart of Milan. Staff was nice.

Upon arrival, we met with someone to get the keys. Immediately we were shocked with the amount of steep stairs we were unaware of leading us to below ground into a basement level area. With 5 big suitcases, it was near impossible to get up and down the 4 flights of stairs. On the website, Duomo Inn advertises it as “1-2 flights” however it is 4 legs of steep glass stairs. It was never made clear that the apartment was below ground and faced an industrial, dirty courtyard that feels quite eerie at night. When communicating this to the Host, he/she was not willing to offer a solution or even an apology for the miscommunication.

The location was amazing as it was within walking distance to the city center.

The stairs down was not fun if you are in bad shape foot problems or other moving problems do not take this. Extra bed was broken so one had to sleep on the floor. Just too little toilet paper had to by own. pillows small and old. bathroom seems that there is mold.

The apartment was cold and the blanket not thick enough and I found no extras. It hasn't met my expectations of cleanliness, especially the shower area. Not enough electricity outlets, I had to work on the kitchen counter.

shame about the view from the window have to walk some stairs, but not a real issue could have done with some bowls and I didn’t see a wine bottle opener or wine glasses. had an issue with the electricity, however it was sorted out straightaway 🙂

I wouldn’t like to have to take a large suitcase given the actual location of the apartment within the building. You arrive and go up 4 floors in the lift. But from the 4th floor you go down two flights of glass stairs to the apartment which is in the centre of the building. So the views are of the internal basement spaces.

The location, minutes from the Duomo is perfect, central for the metro and all the shopping! The actual apartment is situated in a the internal part of the building so don’t expect to throw open the windows to panoramic views. However for me that didn’t matter - I was out all day for the views! The apartment was clean, bright, lots of space, whites and neutral furnishings. The kitchen could be hidden away behind a door, the bathroom was clean and white and the shower was powerful and hot.

Cleanliness. Apartments were not cleaned well. Looks like part of the Apartment were not cleaned at all. Everything else is amazing.

Staff and Owner are very helpful. These apartments can be very comfortable and cozy, just need to be better cleaned. Wouldn't hurt to have the second set of towels and disposable slippers (they are not expensive, but it's hard to find them nearby). The location is simply gorgeous. It couldn't be better. I hope after this comment they will pay attention to cleanliness and the following guests will be able to appreciate everything to the maximum.

The place was not clean, it was very grubby and in need of a good deep cleaning and a lick of paint. The radiators did not work, the washing machine didn't work. It was noisy at night with people going up and down the glass stairs.

Probably the maze to get there. First you need elevator on the 4th floor, then go through “backrooms” then go downstairs one floor where stairs are made of glass which was scary for my girlfriend
