The restaurant dinner was decent, but not particularly impressive given the price. However, the service stood out as excellent. Yet, like in other reviews on this European trip, the half-glass door in the bathroom proved inconvenient, as even with caution, it led to wet floors after showers. 🙄

Starhotel du Parc is a nice 4-star lodging. Beautiful decor & ambience, spacious bedroom, comfortable cal-king-sized bed, kind customer service.

The parking is osible in garage, I think it was 15€ for the day, but you can park acros the street for less money.

The room was nice and big. If you travel with dog you have to pay extra.

Air conditioning didn’t work so we got e other room where toilet didn’t work so then we were upgraded without extra charge to premium and it was exceptional 😀

Shower head due to a leak where the shower head was attached to the pipe leading out of the wall was spraying water on the ceiling which was soaking wet and the Sheetrock was starting to split.

The check in procedure was very long even I had already used the fast check in and one of the links didn't work.

The rooms were spacious and well-facilitated. The staff were friendly at the restaurant and at check in. The place is quite child-friendly. The location is great for its proximity to the city centre and opposite the shops.

Furniture is a bit outdated, I didn't like pillows (there is an option to replace them though on order). No smart card, but standard key. Upon check-in, the pre-authorization amount was charged from my bank card, but upon check-out I changed the method of payment and paid in cash. Nevertheless the full amount remained charged from my bank card and it was only returned after 10 days.

Spacious, sparkling clean room, extra large bed, bathroom with a bath. Absolutely fantastic breakfast buffet, welcoming staff, wide and well-organized lobby and common areas. Nice Easter present in the room (small cake Colomba)

We asked for a Twin bedroom, but on arrival it was a double bed, they had no one to separate the beds, so we had to move out in to another twin room on another floor. The further downside to this was we were suppose to be near other family members, but we then move floors and was not near. Car parking was expensive when you are there a week. 15 Euro per day is fine, but when you are there 1 week, it is expensive, a reduce rate after 2 days, should be considered. Lastly, I initially handed my key in when leaving hotel, but on many occasions it took ages to get it back due to long ques at reception - do not hand the key in to avoid long ques

The hotel is in a busy commercial / school area and is not conducive to walking downtown to visit the historical sites, but public transportation is available in front of the hotel.

Arriving in Parma by car was fine and we found the hotel easily and used the hotel's underground parking garage that was great. Since it was raining upon arrival, it was very reasonable parking and provided us direct access to the hotel with our luggage. The room we had on an upper floor was large, tastefully decorated and had a great, comfy bed and wonderful bathroom. Breakfast was a large buffet and offered many choices. The hotel was very busy with a large group when we were there, but the restaurant's service and food quality were excellent.

I loved the room for all the family. We were in 4, with a queen size bed and 2 individual beds. The bathroom was great with a shower cabin and one big bathtub. The breakfast was excellent as well.

The walls are very thin. We heard conversations in both adjacent rooms. but they were quiet at night. Reception staff is very welcoming but I think their computer system is slow. Maybe time for an upgrade. ;-)

The hotel has an old school charm. It's a bit away from the old town, but you can easily get there with the bus (or a walk through the park). There's a supermarket across and the hotel has a good restaurant. Breakfast was also great. the rates were great. we stayed an extra night.
