My room was right next to the reception, at the ground floor & it was very noisy around - the balcony opened into the terrace where people were staying & talking, the reception desk was very near & I could hear what was going on (people coming & going out of the hotel), even heard somebody from a room next to mine snoring 😄 also, a bit more cleaning for the floor would be nice. And the shower was only fixed onto the ceiling, there was not mobile head of it.

The room had no smell, the towels and sheets were clean, soft & smelled ok. There was hot water, comfy bed. The bathroom was ok.

Location is good for going around Milan by Metro, and also for avoiding the morning trafic of Milan if you are going east.

Location of hotel is in a very dodgy area. Wasn’t a very clean room. Toilet wasn’t cleaned too well either. Very limited breakfast selection.

In the room the air conditioning didn't seem to be working, the hairdryer worked for just a few seconds at a time and then stopped working for hours and the hot water stopped working one morning, I just had a cold shower and got on with it as I was busy. The curtains for the windows do not cover all the windows so as soon as the sun comes up the room is light, this makes sleeping hard. Some people may live in the building from what I gather, it doesn't only belong to the hotel.. These people did not seem to respect people's sleep. On the Sunday night they came in at 4.00am blasting music. It was a repeating theme and the walls seem thin. Therefore, I struggled to get a proper rest. Safety and security was an issue. On the first day when I left my room in the morning, the main front door was open to the street and a random man had got in. He asked me if I could help him and he needed somewhere to stay. I pointed towards the reception building and told him to go there. He said he had no money to which I said I have no cash sorry. He said he would come with me to the cash point and I got a bit panicked at this point and said no and walked away quite quickly, he started shouting at me down the road. But the way I see it is that he shouldn't have been in there in the first place and having a reception there would prevent this. When looking on the map you can see the hotel is only around 10 minutes from Loreto Metro, which has convenient lines for getting to all of the tourist attractions. As a solo, female traveller I didn't feel safe in this area when travelling to and from the metro. If you must book to come solo here like me, do NOT go down Via Padova to get to the metro, there is another road which feels slightly safer. On Via Padova there are lots of groups of men loitering and they will all try to stop you and talk to you and it made me very uncomfortable and I felt unsafe. The area is not what you expect as a tourist when you come to Milan.

The staff are friendly and they had excellent communication prior to arriving with how to get to the hotel. When I arrived and first saw my room (I was in the other building across the road) I was pleasantly surprised. It was much nicer than I was expecting. It was very clean, the bed comfy and the pillows good quality. The shower also had really good pressure. There isn't a view, which is no problem at the price. Close to metro which goes straight to main tourist attractions. The metro is easy to use.

The building corridor has this cigarette smell, but inside the room was OK. There were a bit of noise from the street traffic, but nothing to difficult to manage/support.

Fare price. Easy check in. Perfect place for a short stay. The room was as expected and as the given descriptions.

• no heater. they said they’re saving on gas. but they did gave extra blankets to use. • toilet has a weird smell • could be better with a bit more lights in the room • no tram passes here despite it having track right outside. it says line 1,2&5. the closest station is a few blocks away. so upon arrival we were not prepared to drag our luggage for almost 1.2km

We got a room in the basement. It was good for a 1 night stay in the crowded period of a Design Week. Bathroom was renovated and clean.

The location was loud and run down. The manager walked us to the end of the street and pointed across the street to another building where our room was, handed us the keys, and left us on the street corner. There was no breakfast provided.
