The hotel staff is nice and will provide you with all the information and help you will need including recommendations for trips. Breakfast was superb. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked.It was difficult to single out one member of staff as they were all exceptional BUT must give a special mention to Ivana - she was fantastic - so professional friendly and gave exceptional customer service. What an asset to the hotel!!! Every member of staff looked after us exceptionally well. So friendly welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Dont worry about the hotel being up some steps - they fetched our luggage and took it to the taxi when we left

Valet service is great. Just FYI to know that if you arrive by car, you will meet the valet outside the pedestrian area and one valet will park the car and one valet will take your luggage to the hotel because hotel is in pedestrian area. It is a 5 min walk to the hotel for the guests from the meeting point.

Central location. Wonderful staff! We had logistical issue and they were so accommodating! Excellent breakfast and dinner! Comfortable beds, large bathroom, good AC, complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Love the Skybar on the rooftop. 5 star experience and stay.

Everything was incredible, but the restaurant experience was perhaps the most amazing. No big expectations never for hotels restaurants, but in this case the food was incredible and the service was just a bit of Italian magic.

Unfortunately the Sky Bar had closed for the season, but the bartender gave us a tour in the morning and it is wonderful. The views were fantastic. Made sense being closed in middle November when it’s dark and much cooler in the evenings.

The Palazzo Vecchio was the quintessential boutique hotel experience. Our room was lovely, the location perfectly situated in the middle of the old town, the staff overwhelming friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks delicious. We stayed in all wonderful hotels in Sicily, but the experience at Palazzo Vecchio was exceptional. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff was from the bellman who lugged our bags from Porta Catania to the waitstaff in the bar and restaurant who made us feel like old friends. I think I would describe it as luxury without the attitude. I don’t know if we’ll make it back to Taormina, but I would stay at this hotel again and again.

Breakfast involved a lot of good quality options in a very pleasant dining room. Not always as organised as one might hope, albeit friendly and courteous. Plumbing all a bit complicated and needed maintenance.

There was nothing we could complain anout at Palazzo Vecchio Taormina and would definitely stay there again if we returned to Taormina

This Boutique Hotel was well located on the Main Walking Street, but set-back up a flight of stairs, so quite discreet. The Service, Housekeeping, Breakfast and general facilities for a small hotel of only #12 Guestrooms was quite exceptional, and the Guest Relations / Concierge Antonio was extremely helpful with suggesting great Restaurants, and organising a trip up the ubiquitous Mt. Etna, which is a must for anyone visiting Taormina, and this part of Sicily. I would highly recommend the Palazzo Vecchio Hotel Taormina, for anyone wishing to stay at a more discreet and personal Hotel, rather than a large Grand Hotel, with all the facilities of 2 or 3 Restaurants etc. The Hotel has a relationship with a very pleasant Beach Club down on the Beach, who will collect you from the Town Square and return whenever you wish ➕️ the Food at La Caravella was really excellent 👌 We hired a car from Catania, which was a waste of time, as it remained parked at Euro 30 per day for our entire stay, until our departure.....if you only intend to visit Catania. We had an amazing time in Taormina for the 5 days we stayed, and were really sorry to leave this incredibly beautiful and unique lication, with excellent Restaurants for every taste from Street Food to Haute Cuisine at the Grand Timeo Belmond Hotel, which has a Michelin Star Restaurant and great food at their Terrace Restaurant as well.

There was no shower curtain, so had to sit in the bathtub. For us ok but elderly people might have a problem with the exercise. Price is quite high but everything is a bit overpriced in Taormina.
