Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaPersonally I liked everything, but my husband thought the shower was the only thing that could have been better, otherwise I would have rated 10/10 for everything. But in Europe you can’t always expect big showers…
It was very spacious, had everything, little kitchen, even laundry which can be hard to come by when traveling. Very close to the train, 3 minutes walk - some may find the train noise annoying but for travellers who are out and about all day, this was not an issue for us at all. The owner was lovely, her dad even helped us with carrying our suitcase upstairs. They also suggested the local Gramsci & Co cafe which was a gem!

AustraliaThere was no laundry liquid.
It was clean, comfortable, modern, perfect amount of space for a couple. The train station into Milan is a very short walk (5 mins) from the apartment. Easy check in and check out. Stress free and very welcoming hosts. Wifi was great.

BulgariaIt's a bit noisy because of the train station
It's very nice and comfortable apartment with all the facilities. The place is actually very nice, even the 1st moment look hard to reach it with the public transportation, but the owner explained to us how to go in Milan faster and it was really easy

PortugalThe fridge was empty, there could be small snacks and meals for sale because in my case we arrived at dawn and nothing was open, we were hungry...
I want to thank Sra Francesca for your attention and patience, our flight was delayed a lot and even so my family and I could count on your understanding, especially in communication, because I don't have full command of English and even so you were attentive and human. We are Brazilians and we live in Portugal. We loved the apartment, everything was impeccable, quiet environment, comfortable bed and the train at the edge opens up new possibilities to explore places. I recommend this accommodation, I really appreciate the lady and her husband, super attentive and friendly with us. Great cost/benefit! They are to be congratulated!!! If I have to go back, I know where I'm going!

LithuaniaThe apartment is perfect, it's even bigger than it looks from the pictures. The apartment is located very close to the train station so you can reach Milano center and other areas very quickly. There are small shops and restaurants/pizzerias around. If you are planning to come by car, you have to figure out the parking rules in the area because otherwise, you will get a fine. I got one :) If you go to bed early the trains might be a little noisy thing, however, they are not going at night time, for me, it wasn't a problem,

BelarusThe train branch is very close, and with the window open, the noise is quite large (with the window closed it also interferes with sleep). We also encountered the problem of going to the center during a strike. We had the last day of the trip, and suddenly it turned out already at the station that the trains would not run from 9 am to 5 pm. When we asked how to get to the center in addition to the train, the hostess replied that there was no way, only a taxi (and she did not answer the call and did not call back). We learned on our own that there are other ways of communication with the center of Milan (via a bus with a change to a tram). I did not like that the hostess was not at all involved in our problem and didn't help to solve it in any way. She has just replied with a message that you can call a taxi, no more. I can't recommend this place just because the train schedule can be changed at the last moment (thank God, the strike did not fall on the day of departure, when you had to go to the airport).
In the next entrance there is a jaleteria with the most delicious ice cream in the world). 2 balls of 2.80 euros
