The lakeside location is perfect and a short walk into the centre of Desenzano.

No criticism because this hotel had a fridge as well as above stated facilities.

This was a fabulous way to spend my last few days in Italy. A fabulous, welcoming hotel with so many facilities right on the beach is very hard to beat. Fabulous breakfast, room with an ocean view and friendly staff was much appreciated.

no a/c in room, when asked for it to be turned on, was told other guests were cold, basically our needs ignored. Pool area not open, access to lake from dock not open. Had to leave hotel to access restaurant & bar

Great place to stay with a fantastic lake view. Hospitality, very helpful stuff and delicious breakfast. Feels like you are at home. Nice place for family and as a starting city for lake trip. Thanks a lot! Highly recommended!

I loved everything.

The location is fantastic. It is 100mts from the city center and an 8-minute walk downhill from the station. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very professional and courteous. The hotel is very comfortable. The bathroom is clean with all amenities and good supply of hot water. The lift is nice and big. The breakfast is perfect with a superb viee too! I was impressed that they had enough vegetarian options and also some warm food in the morning. I was fed up eating breads and cheeses. As an Indian I do need something warm in the mornings. The staff gave us an adaptor; we were so glad they had a universal one.

The hallway had a smelly water odour lingering unfortunately. One of the people we were travelling with had a room to themself and said the wall between their bed and next door bathroom was paper thin. The guy making coffee at breakfast and the morning receptionist had attitudes, not sure if it was too early for them or not but not a great way to be treated after the lady who checked us in was so nice.

Happy with everything

The location was excellent. We had a terraced room over looking the lake. easy walk along the promenade to restaurants & the ferry service on the lake. The railway station was a 10 minute walk or quick taxi drive. The staff were extremely welcoming & helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is no kids friendly, we had to put in the room baby crib ourselves, although the receptionist said the crib doesn't fit at all. And on the check-out we discovered that we were charged for this. We also got charged for extra breakfast for a 1-year-old boy. There were many other struggles with the service in the restaurant as well. You can't reach the pool with the stroller or even worse if you are a handicapped person. Overall very disappointed with our stay in this hotel.

Negatuves Room was near the road- rather noisy Bedroom and some public areas badly needed renovating- bedroom furniture, rugs veey shabby- felt like a 3 star hotel- very hard to justify the rate charged I also thought the furniture in the breakfast area required renovating

The staff were very friendly and accommodating but our air conditioning was not working properly and the lift broke down at least 3 times while we were there..once while we were in it!!

The air conditioning in my room was very poor. The best the staff could do was to get the air conditioner to emit a small amount of air at room temperature. I had to keep the windows all the way open in order to cool the room, and that wasn't very effective.

it’s dated, our room was on the ground floor next to the lift, so during the night the lift kept you awake and then early morning it all started again🤬 no toilet facilities on the lower pool area, hence you had to struggle up a long steep slope to get to the reception toilets. The breakfast was ok once, stodge and cold cold. if you wanted to take a coffee from the restaurant and walk 20 paces to the outside tables, they charged 5 euros extra, joke!! The bar and Restaurant adjoining the hotel, bar very expensive, plus the food was really basic and always Cold 🥶 we notice a few locals who met for a drink, they never ate in there!! wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The older receptionist was extremely rude, a miserable woman. if she doesn’t like humans why do this work. Horrible woman
