A couple of our outlets didn't work and when we went to use the pool, there wasn't much for seating, so you have to get there at a decent time, which isn't necessarily out of the ordinary having stayed other places. Our kids are late risers and event though the breakfast was open until 11, they started to run out or clean up the food by about 10:45, so their options were sometimes limited. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again though.

The location was great. It was about 40 strides followed by 37 gradual steps up to the heart of the city, which we didn't find an issue at all. The room was spacious and the views from the balcony were amazing. Check in was fast and the front desk staff was very helpful, booking us a beach club and getting a taxi for us upon departure to our next destination. They offered complimentary water and gummy candy snacks in the lobby, which we took advantage of with our sweet tooth.

Think pool area (decking) needs some maintenance.

The rooms and bathrooms are a bit tired and could do with modernising. The bedrooms are too corporate for such a hotel.

The outstanding feature was the view of the pool and sea from our balcony. It was stunning. Breakfast was really good, with lots of healthy choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only one lift to service the entire hotel. The older staff were at times abrupt and appeared to be annoyed and not enjoying their job. Hotel looked a little tired and dated and in need of a freshen up.

Loved the location; 2 min walk to the lower restaurants and bars. The park at the top of the driveway is beautiful and has a great playground. Beautiful views from the hotel and room balcony. pool is lovely too.

the problem with this hotel is that there is a climb of about 100 stairs and to get up or down to the hotel. location was good but the climb up was quite an effort

view was very good. the reception staff got us personal car tours.and called us a cab to the airport.

Unusual building with unattractive concrete balconies. Steep stairs down to access the building. Small room. Very narrow shower located in the bath. Very expensive.

our view was fairly restricted just because of the room we were in. perhaps we were unlucky with this but a shame for us

we loved the location and view from the property. having a swimming pool whilst being in the heart of Taormina was a lovely balance of holiday, relaxation and exploring. Also having the public gardens above the hotel was nice to explore.

The steep driveway to the hotel. The decking around the pool was uneven and presented trip hazards.

Nothing major, but blow dryer wouldn’t turn on and our own hair appliances seemed to overpower the outlets even with appropriate adapters.

Friendly, accommodating with incredible views from a spacious room with an extra spacious deck overlooking the ocean. Great location, wonderful pool area, and helpful staff. Enjoyed the walk up the hill from the hotel to the Main Street level, but some people might find it trying if they are physically challenged.

No parking but nearby. Couldn’t take bags to hotel directly. Someone had to pick up and transport since no parking and difficult access. For exit, they could get bags to top of hill but we still had to transport through narrow streets for several blocks.

great location and views, rooms were comfortable but showers are super tiny . the shower overflowed on Day1, but they cleaned it up quickly. Staff was very professional and worked hard to please.

short steep walk up hill but only takes a couple of minutes, some taxis won’t drop luggage so you have to drag up hill. Hotel as small van but not available when we wanted it even though give advance notice.
