Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaNothing. We wish we spent more time at the accommodation!
We were meant to stay closer to Sienna but we're so glad we changed and stayed here instead! Our plan was to arrive in Florence by train and leave from Pisa Airport. Basing ourselves near Vinci meant a much shorter drive to / from, especially after the stress of picking up the car in Florence and driving for the first time on Italian roads. We loved our stay at Agriturismo Fattoria Rozzalupi. The hosts were so welcoming, we met some wonderful friendly people. Everything here is set up for relaxation, and we kinda regretted not spending more time just simply relaxing! 1. Beautiful views and grounds, quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely way to spend the last 4 days of our Italian trip. 2. Apartment was generously sized and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fittings are quite traditional and Tuscan, so it looks "old", but it wasn't. Everything was clean and fitted the ambience of the accommodation. 3. Clean and well maintained grounds and pool, which the young and old in our group loved spending time in. A pool was also a huge plus for our kids, who were all a bit tired of looking at churches and old buildings. :-) 4. Welcoming and helpful hosts. They pointed us in the direction of the local wine festival (we attended both days!) plus amazing restaurants (Adriano 731943 is a must try)! We hope to come back and stay at Agriturismo Fattoria Rozzalupi again!

United KingdomThere were lots of mosquitos around, biting in the day and night, so bring some insect repellent. Also watch out for bees in the flowers on the lawn (2 of our party stepped on and were therefore stung by bees!) The fan in the main bedroom was very loud - we were ok but you might struggle if you need silence to sleep. It was about 30 degrees while we were there and the fan kept us cool enough.
We had a lovely relaxing stay at peaceful Fattoria Rozzalupi. We didn't hire a car as we weren't planning to do any day trips, and it was very easy to get from Pisa Airport to the farm by public transport (take the Pisa Mover airport shuttle to Pisa Centrale train station, then take a train to Empoli train station - you can buy both tickets at the airport, just tell them you want to go to Empoli. Once you reach Empoli, take the number 52 bus from Empoli train station and it drops you literally right next to the entrance to Fattoria Rozzalupi). The farm is beautiful and quiet, and our 2-bed apartment was more like a house - really spacious over 2 floors, with very comfortable beds and sofa, and a kitchen fully equipped with pots/pans/crockery. WiFi was perfect throughout. The pool was the perfect temperature, and never too busy. Francesca and her husband were very kind and helpful in communications before and during our stay, and they make a delicious breakfast that you can opt-in for the night before. The croissants and the coffee were particularly good! We were 4 adults and an 8-month old baby, so it was lovely to have lots of open lawn space and the horses, chickens and sheepdogs to visit. There is a winery across the road selling delicious and very reasonably priced wine, we popped over unannounced and were given tastings free of charge. About a 15 minute walk down the road, there is a decent sized EuroSpin supermarket selling everything you need (get there early to get the best bread), and next door, a delicious pizzeria (Amici Miei) and gelateria. Just be aware that there is not always a pavement on the walk there. If you have a car, I think there are lots of great restaurants nearby.

United StatesFrancesca was amazing! Before check in, she checked in with us to see how we planned to arrive. she gave us recommendations to rent a car so we could fully experience the area and get around the small towns. Great advice! The place we stayed was beautiful and relaxing. She directed us to a stable on the property for horseback riding and gave us an orientation of the local restaurants in the near by towns. The facilities were clean and comfortable. She kept some wine on the property from some local wineries that were close to her family. If you are looking for a quiet get away in the rolling hills of Tuscany. This is the place! We were treated like family the whole time we were there!

Czech RepublicOne of the best accommodations, I have ever tried! The farm has a great, beautiful location - pretty close to Vinci, Firenze and other nice places in Tuscany (anyway, you have to travel by car). The accommodation is comfortable, spacious, rustic and charming; it is suitable for people who do not want to stay in a city. The views (of Vinci town) are wonderful, the pool is very convenient...

GermanyHas nothing to do with the hotel! Here we go: There was a very loud and dumb German family / friends. Like 15 - 20 people. They owned the pool area, loud telephones, a lot of beer and loud music on the night. Other guests were very disturbed. Not cool. You don’t own the place for your German BBQ and beer events. Go out! See some places. But no, bring your whole village with you to Italy. Big no go.
Really cute family based business, very friendly and lovable, clean, good breakfast, pool area, nice hiking spots, safe.
