    The check-in and check-out process was very frustrating and unclear beforehand. We knew about paying the local taxes per person but did not know we had to pay a deposit and there were some issues receiving it back. Luckily another friend had an apartment at the same time and could transfer the money but this put a sour note and will prevent us from booking here again.

    The heating and location was very good.

    We had some issues which were badly managed by everyone involved, from the local staff to the agency to the owner. The local staff was hard to contact, most of our calls went unanswered and she simply disappeared after a couple of days (to this day, we don’t know what happened…). If answered we were promised things like to be sent some info by email, which we never received… The agency, Interhome, was promising to act and call back but mainly nothing was happening. Counting all the 10+ calls with customer support, we spent hours on the phone, which ended up being a waste of time. One of their customer support agents even dared to raise his voice for no reason. In one sentence: horrible customer care. The last day the owner came, we welcomed him with a smile and, in return, we got told ‘I’m the owner and tonight I sleep here!’. He wanted to kick us out even though Interhome had told us they would allow us to stay an extra night because our deposit was returned so late that it prevented us from leaving on time (we had a long road trip ahead of us with 3 kids, one of whom wasn’t feeling well…). It took lot of patience to make the flat owner reasoning, he finally apologized and told us he would sleep in a hotel for the night. On top of this, we found the flat dirty in many places (like there were plastic bottles and dirty socks under the bed), one bad sheet and all towels were missing. After 3 days we were given 2 large and 2 small towels (but we were 5!) and all of them were so smelly that we needed to look for a laundry and lost half of our day for that. And the local staffer really pulled our legs. At first, she said ‘they forgot the towels, I’ll bring them tomorrow’. The following day she informed us that the owner had decided not to offer towels anymore because of some customers’ bad behavior in the past - when we called Interhome, they said that it was a blatant lie because their customers (flat owners) can’t change agreements just like that.

    The place has lot of potential but it was all affected by the bad management of it.
