Everything! Owner was extremely polite. My partner and I felt very welcome! Nothing went wrong whatsoever! 1 minute walk from Friday Market. Fresh food smells in the morning from the local shops. Bloody beautiful! I will 1000000% be returning! By far, the most beautiful place!! 100% like the photos! Thankyou so much for the stay!

Cannot think of a thing.

The Garden Lodge was absolutely charming. Looked brand new, spotless and quiet. Well equipped to make breakfast at home. Two balconies over looking a beautiful garden. Host helpful and available but not hovering! We had such a lovely visit in Stresa, really hated to leave!

The owners were super sweet and gave us great tips for where to eat. The location of the house is simply perfect. Even though it's situated right in the center, garden lodge creates a small oasis of peace and calmness.

The property consists of 4 rental apartments and is very well located in the heart of Stresa. Around are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurant as well as small shops or supermarkets. So everything can easily discovered and reached by feet. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor for 3 nights. The apartment was very clean and everything looked freshly renovated. The apartment has everything that is needed, including a small kitchen and a capsule coffee machine. What is very comfortable is that you can enter the property and the apartment via PIN code, so you don’t need to carry keys / cards with you, that could get lost. Last but not least, it is a family runned business. Giorgio and his family were so kind and friendly! This would have deserved an extra point in the rating.

No parking close to the villa. Giorgio recommended two public parking lots to us 5 minutes away, No bigger problem, had to carry our luggage. Anyway you can`t have it all, staying in the pedestrian zone of the old town and to get rid of the car.

The location was great in the backyard of the main building. Very quiet and new Appartement. Communication was easy in advance for checkin. The owner of Garden Lodge, Giorgio, recommended restaurants in between walking distance, which we liked very much, especially Trattoria Due Piccioni. Best croissants and sweets ever at pasticceria Marcolini, which we could enjoy at the balcony. Ferry harbour to the Borromeen Islands 5 minutes walk only. Thank you Giorgio and family, definitely will stay again.

There is nothing I would change or add. I was wondering exactly how the parking would work, but we easily found free parking one block away and rolled our bags to the apartment. We didn’t use the car for the duration of our stay.

This lovely apartment is just perfect. It is new, clean, stylish, awesome location the central old section of Stresa and yet quiet and private. It really is ideal! Giorgio, the gist is the kindest person and extremely attentive and very personable. There is not one thing I would change about the property or our 3 day experience! My husband and I will be back as it was really well suited for 2 people.

The location was exceptional, inside and out. Nothing but superlatives. And Giorgio was wonderful from the first to the last, giving great advice on things to see and do, and an overwhelming felling of being welcome. Indeed, the whole family, whom we met in their store, were kind and pleasant to meet and talk to.

Garden Lodge is located in the heart of Stresa.10 mins away fro the train station if you walk. 2 mins to walk to the boat dock where you could cruise around the beautiful lake. The owner Roger is super friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Shops and restaurants are mins away. Highly recommended.

The establishment is situated within a few yards of the waterfront, ferry ticket office, and many eating places. It's a modern garden apartment run by extremely nice people who own the adjacent leather shop. We couldn't have been happier & would certainly return.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Right in the centre of Stresa with no noise either in the apartment or on the balcony. This place is very clean with plenty of space for two people, nice balcony, wonderful hosts (thank you Georgio and family) and most importantly it is great value compared to staying in a hotel.

Met on arrival and given door codes and a map with helpful information about local bars and restaurants. Beautiful studio apartment, in a lovely quiet courtyard just off the main area. Very comfortable bed, quiet for sleeping. Great bathroom, excellent shower.

Everything ! Giorgio and his family were very nice, and very helpful concerning what to do in Stresa :) The apartment is very well located, in the center of Stresa, everything is nearby (even the boat to visit Borromean islands). The apartment was modern and very calm. Next time we are in Stresa, we will definitely come back there :)

Our hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Our apartment was very clean and in a perfect location within a couple of minutes to restaurants, bars or beach. Yet, accommodation was super quiet. In the mornings we enjoyed a cup of coffee outside overlooking the garden.
