All was fine.

Hotel was lakeside with incredible views from the room. It was a bonus to find a socket for our phones beside the bed. We were able to borrow an Italian adaptor from Reception. There was a stony beach from which it was possible to swim in the lake. There was a reasonable amount of parking although quite tight in places. Apparently further parking about 200m away. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't get the takeaway breakfast (which you can eat in a dining area overlooking the lake. The walk back to the town of Menaggio takes about 15-20 minutes, felt very safe, on pathways. The ferry terminal gives access to passenger and car ferries across the lake. You can buy a round trip ticket.

It was a 30 minute walk from the central downtown, we had a vehicle so it was not a concern but parking in the downtown area was terrible. So if you're walking it might be a bit of an effort. But the area is lovely and quaint.

There was parking in the front, the staff was very nice, the room was clean and had a good amount of space, and the lake facing balcony was lovely.

The location is 25 minutes by walk from the ferry, a bit far. The design is not the most amazing. The shower soaps provided are not comfortable- only a shampoo is given.

We stayed in the new rooms, we loved the smart TV, the balcony, the private beach to the lake. Quite location. Staff were nice. Private parking.

Listen to me ! If you want to have a perfect journey on Lake Como, this is the place to stay!!! Gorgeous view from the balcony, close to Menaggio only 15-20 flat walking distance that includes amazing views of the lake during the walk and most important close to the ferry that makes it very very easy to visit Bellagio, Varenna and all other lake Como destinations, and last but not least the woman at reception was very lovely and helpful !

- The downside of having a quiet place is being 1Km away from the city center. But its a nice 15m walk

The room had a fabulous view of the entire lake and the best part was we had the lake front shore all to ourselves. The hotel had a bunch of interesting floaters, kayaks, body boards etc. The main bus station is just 10 minutes walking and since it's the first stop you're guaranteed a seat. The ferry point is a bit far but the walk is beautiful so you barely feel the distance.

Wouldn’t reccomend walking with suitcase from ferry port. Walkable distance from town but in the heat it is a struggle.

We booked a room without air conditioning as the others were fully booked. This meant it was very uncomfortable in the night (August). If the hotel provided even fans would be a more comfortable sleep!

Wow! This hotel is a perfect find! The walk into Mennagio is around 10 minutes, well lit and a beautiful walk next to the lake! The hotel provide a wonderful breakfast which was my favourite part of everyday, sitting on our balcony overlooking the lake! We were blown away by the views from the hotel and the fact we were on the lake, looking at other hotels in the center they are slightly further back from the lake! We spent some time on the private garden and had a chance to swim in the lake from there! Perfect to have right on your doorstep :) the staff were wonderful and very helpful! Rooms were cleaned everyday.

It would have been helpful to have a little more information on check-in - I had to come back later to ask for the wifi log in details; we weren’t sure how the beach could be used (ie whether the equipment like paddle boards and inflatables could be used); and nothing was mentioned about breakfast if we wanted to pay extra for it. The air conditioned rooms are in a separate building so would have been nice to be showed to the room and have the facilities (AC and smart TV) explained a little. The smart TV also does not have smart capabilities currently (apps like Netflix can’t be used) which I only found out after asking (though they explained they plan to have a technician look at it some time soon).

Such an amazing hotel - quiet location but only a 20 min walk into Menaggio; small private beach so we swam in the lake every day; incredible balcony view of the lake; very modern and clean. Overall a fantastic stay, thank you!

Nice bright room with a lovely view over the lake. Great location, close enough to menaggio that it wasn't inconvenient but far enough (a 15 minute walk with amazing views) that it wasn't too busy. Loved the balcony!
