Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomwhilst the room was very clean the shower walls and floor could have been cleaner. having said that I would recommend you to others. travelling around Rome by bus was not very pleasant although this is not the fault of your apartments or staff, but the bus drivers in general were very rude and unhelpful
breakfast was good. location was great with plenty of restaurants close by. staff were very pleasant and helpful. the room was very clean and comfortable

Very stylish modern and clean in a brilliant location near Piazza Del Popolo overlooking via del Corso. The staff were exemplary. They made sure we knew how to get to the property and were so helpful. The breakfast was really good. There was even a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the room as they had worked out it was my birthday.

Czech RepublicUnfortunately, the floor above our room was probably being renovated and it disturbed us both during the day and even in the evening. Maybe it's not a good idea to rent out rooms while the construction is going on, or it would be good to point out that it might disturb you.
Very nice staff and great location, comfortable beds. Good breakfast.

United StatesWe arrived the morning of the Rome Marathon, and many roads all around the hotel were closed. Thus, we had to drag our suitcases a half-mile over the cobblestones.
Newly-renovated and really clean. Room a little tight, but very comfortable. We had 2 windows overlooking Via del Corso. I think 4 of the 6 or 7 rooms overlook this street. All rooms are on the 3rd floor, but there is a small elevator. The location is great, right on the pedestrian part of Via del Corso. Taxis are allowed on the cross street right at the building’s corner. Breakfast was simple, but nice. The hot foods were eggs and bacon. The staff were all very nice.

GreeceNothing really.
Excellent location, metro near by, most sites within walking distance. Adequate and fresh breakfast. Our room got upgraded automatically to a beautiful suite facing Via del Corso, which was a class act. Great interior, clean sheets etc. A lovely experience all around.

GreeceThe breakfast was nice, I would suggest some variety on the buffet every couple of days, since it was the same the 3 days we stayed. We called on the emergency number as one of our wallets was stolen and there was no answer. However, I assume that is not the case normally, as all staff was eager to help us at all times.
The staff was very keen on making us feel comfortable, being kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The location is at the very centre of everything making it very easy to walk to most points of interest. We left our luggage at the hotel since our flight was in the afternoon, with no additional charge.

FinlandExcellent location right on the main shopping street. Within walking distance to all main sights. Great breakfeast. Beatiful and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. Easy and flexible check-in and check-out. Great restaurants and also minimarket close by. Good though to keep in mind that central location means many people and with that comes sound. Therefore for easy sleepers I would recommend taking earplugs with you.

Saudi ArabiaThe breakfast buffet had tasteful food, but lacked variety and even when we requested for fruit salads to be included for us, our request wasn't granted, we still had to make the request directly to the chef before the fruit salad was made.
The front desk staff were very professional, and they arranged for a private car to pick us from the airport at a reasonable fee. The location of the hotel is very convenient and close to major attractions, like the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo was just a 2 minutes walk away, also the Pantheon was about 20 minutes walk from the hotel.

AustraliaThe entrance of the building and the stairs is quite dark, so we were a bit overwhelmed when we first arrived with all of our luggage.
Clean, modern and spacious apartment in the heart of Rome! We absolutely loved our stay here (family of 4) Despite being on a busy street, it was very quiet and cosy Close to public transport, cafes, shopping etc

IrelandI didn't like to leave the place😥. There should be floor mats around the bathtub, but no issues with towels though as they replace it if it's on the floor. If you prefer to have your own bath foam, bring your own. Shampoos, shower gels, soaps, conditioners, shower caps provided.
We are welcomed with a mini chocolate on the 🛏️. The bath tub is ideal esp if you have a little one who loves to play and enjoy like a little mermaid 😄🛀. She is always looking forward to going home to the hotel for the bath 😂.And the staff? The friendliest staff we have ever encountered in our holiday abroad.Agnese and Isotta in the reception, Ariel and Eric in the dining area. They all make sure, you have a lovely and comfortable stay in the hotel. A home away from home with luxury🥰❤️. The preparation they made for a surprise birthday for our little girl, made her birthday extra special with her fave Wednesday Addams theme. And the cake was so delicious, we kept it in the fridge, unfortunately,we were not able to finish it because we are too full coming back home from our sightseeing and always late home too 😥...the accommodation is very central, you can walk to all attractions and the shopping is at your doorstep and this🍺 😄. Even if it's central, it's quiet and you will have a good night sleep and save energy for the next outdoor activities. The breakfast is tasty with hot food options too. Airport transport can be arranged and check in/out is very quick. You can also leave your luggage with no extra cost and be sure to collect it before 5pm as there is no reception available. You will dislike the entrance of the building but forget about it as you enter the apartment, everything is perfect❤️. The ceiling is phenomenal 🥰. There are some goodies in the fridge but they are not free. There are tea and coffee facilities provided and a bottle of water which is free. Highly recommended and definitely we will come back to GCF luxury suites. 👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.

United StatesI could have been better prepared for the entranceway, which at first, we did not see and then did not think was our guest house. We should also have been told in advance to take the elevator to the second floor.
Breakfast was enjoyable. Location was great, Via del Corso is a lively, fun, bustling pedestrian street with lots of shops restaurants and nice walking distance to to several locations.
