Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was very small, smaller than the balcony. The Wi-Fi didn't work.
The room had all the necessary utilities, shampoo, towels and so on. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, 1 min to the beach, close to the restaurants and in front of nice gelateria. Breakfast was provided (very simple though). I had a huge balcony with a sea view

The staff were fantastic and very eager to help. They let us check in early, check out late as well as organise a taxi for us. Great service!

United StatesToo much air freshener, or...whatever it is. I wish that hotels would not use scented air fresheners and detergents. I always have to hang the bedspread outside because it's so heavily scented...hotels, PLEASE stop using perfume-y sprays, detergents and air fresheners! But that's my only complaint!
Can't beat the location, right across from the beautiful beach! It's not the Ritz, so don't expect some kind of ultra-modern, fancy hotel - but there are great things to be had from this mom and pop gem! The breakfast is very good with a lot of options and personalised service. It's clean and comfortable, and not corporate! The proprietors are on site, and they care. They really go the extra mile. Front desk staff, super! Great place to bring the family to the beach! Extremely good pricing for the location. Great Abruzzese restaurant right next door.I will always return!

United StatesShower could use an upgrade and not the best lighting. I wish hotels would stop using perfume-y, scented "air fresheners". Once I aired out the room it was fine.
Right across the street from the ocean. Not far from the train station, but a little hike, walking. Great value, everything clean and comfy! Nice substantial towels.. Beach umbrella and chairs..Nice staff, they even cut up my cantaloupe! Great restaurant right next door, with English speaking waitstaff. Arrosticini is the local specialty! I will come back here for sure.
