Giotto Country House and Spa is a peaceful and beautiful stay. All the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and helpful throughout. The pool area in particular with the beautiful views of Assisi are incredible.

Wonderful stay - highly recommended. I was travelling for a friend's wedding and was met with a lot of surprise that my stay at Giotto came with air conditioned rooms (don't assume it as standard here!), the breakfast every morning was outstanding with a great range of food and drink options. Angela and her couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable. I would definitely return. It's about a 25 minute walk downhill back from Assisi - in 35 degrees I didn't once attempt the walk up the steep hills there!

Angela is wonderful and helped us with restaurant booking during our stay. the rooms are the most beautiful and harmonic rooms ever, Angela has thought of every single detail in this location. pool area nice and clean, perfect with the football and tennis court next to the pool. we will definetely come back again!

No English language TV channels when we stayed which was a shame - I understand this is changing but don’t know when.

Giotto Luxury Country House is a reasonably new boutique hotel just out of Assisi (a 20 euro taxi into town). The room we had was spotlessly clean and spacious. I used the pool during our one night stay and it was fabulous. then to lay on the sun lounge and stare up at Assisi above was just so special. The breakfast was amazing! Angela was very responsive and kind - a wonderful asset to this hotel.

The property was only better than we expected. We would note that most renters had rental cars. We were probably the only group walking in and out of town. There are prompt reliable taxis which we used a few times.

Angela was amazing! Breakfast was fantastic, rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked, and the pool made it all perfect. Plus a sauna and Turkish bath room to be finished in a month!

It was beautiful. Angela and the team were so helpful and provide a fully stacked mini fridge every day as well as breakfast. She was so helpful with finding things to do and organising taxis! We can’t wait to recommend this to all our friends! It’s about 45 minutes walk to Assisi (up hill - very steep) or €15 euro taxi!

From start to finish our stay was spectacular. The warm welcoming from our host was top notch as she greeted us upon our arrival and showed us the grounds we were staying in as well as an orientation to our stay. Fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with great water pressure and temperature. Wi-Fi was great and TVs all worked well. The pool does have a shallow end that gradually gets deeper, so my kids enjoyed that. Ample parking on site. Easy 4 min drive to the closest parking structure to the St Francis Basilica. Lovely area to walk if you want to walk around the area or even walk up to the Basilica. Ultimately I felt one with nature and I would definitely return to this beautiful country house. The owners also have a luxury stay in the city, but I truly enjoyed seeing the basilica at night and the sun coming over the top of the landscape in the mornings.
