This is NOT a criticism, but the location is close to, and beyond, the railway station. While this was fine by me, it is not a city centre spot.

Pietro and his family are very accommodating host who try their very best to ensure that each guest is looked after. The rooms are spotless with excellent showers etc. The breakfast buffet (actually in the kitchen) is something to behold. Additionally there is an excellent local trattoria underneath and just down the road (towards the station) Legends - a great place to eat.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It's only 8 mins walk from the train station and 20 mins by walk to Piazza Unità d'Italia, the main square. The room had air conditioning and double glazing som we were not disturbed by traffic noise. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very attentive and helpful.

This exceeded all my expectations in terms of value for money and the quality of the rooms. Above all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even letting me store my baggage in the apartment after checking out while I waited to catch my bus.

Very welcoming hosts, trying to help us and give us information. Our stay truly felt like being home. Room was perfectly clean,spacious,with comfortable beds, air conditioning,double windows securing silence at night, blackout curtains and external shutters. bathroom with an excellent shower, hangers for our things. Loved also the style of furniture and lots of day light. Bus stop 2min walk,downtown 15min walk,train and flixbus 7min walk.

Golden Rooms B&B is a truly special place. The hosts are very kind. They make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. They pay attention to every small detail and make sure that you have everything you need. The room itself is very clean and spacious. There is a lot of room to move around and to relax. The style of the place is very warm and inviting. You will feel comfortable and welcomed as soon as you see it. And let's talk about breakfast! It is really good and there is a lot to choose from. My favorite thing was the fresh and warm croissant. They were delicious and a wonderful way to start the day along with great coffee. Gostitelji također govore tečno hrvatski.

Easy to find, walking distance from main railway station, with bus stops into the city only a short walk away. Rooms were very quiet due to double/triple glazing even though on a busy road. The decor was very good. Delightful friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Good variety of hot and cold drinks, fresh croissants, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruits, ham, cheese and cereals for breakfast. Everything of a high standard.

Can't think of anything that would keep us from staying here again!

Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Towels were refreshed every other day. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The location was close enough to the city center that we just walked to town. Bus stops, bus station, train station & grocery stores were very nearby. It was so handy to wake up and enjoy the lovely breakfast from the array of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, breads & pastries provided us each morning! We had all we could eat - and more in the inviting dining space! Would stay here again if we ever get back to Trieste.
