Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IraqI liked everything about the hotel. This building that was built in 1863 is captivating and the way they reserved its identity is amazing. The location is perfect, we could walk to the shopping area and the Duomo. And of course the great staff of the hotel who were so friendly, helpful and professional. The whole experience was amazing! everything was beyond our expectations! we loved the building, its very old but well renovated and clean. the staff were super friendly and very informative and always willing to help. the location was perfect, everything was nearby and just by a walking distance. the area was also safe we didn’t encounter anything unusual. we visited during june, so the weather was slightly hotter than usual, however the AC’s at the hotel was amazing and kept our room cool the whole day. whenever we were out, housekeeping cleaned our room and changed the towels/ added water/ etc.. would definitely come back 😍

The hotel staff was super nice and helpful! my husband wasn’t feeling well and they made all the efforts to assist. The hotel is clean and it’s located next to all the hotspots in Milan without being noisy- we walked everywhere!

United StatesThe room size was a bit small for three people (2 adults and one child). A double vanity would have been nice. It was a bit noisy on the back side of the hotel where we were as we would hear noise from the street below if the doors were open.
The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and the wait staff in the morning there was so accommodating and nice. They made us feel so welcomed and special. Actually the entire staff was so pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was well located and had such a historic and elegant feel to it. The bathroom water pressure and shower temperature was perfect.

CanadaThe level of service is not at par with Milan’s other 5stars, nor is the staff bubbling over with friendliness and enthusiasm. The decor of the suites too, is seriously lacking and the bedding not particularly comfortable.
The centrally located hotel is beautifully appointed, but nor ‘too renovated’. Despite having to pander to a certain crowd, it maintains a certain level of authentic, antediluvian grandeur.
