Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineThe choice in the Continental breakfast was not diverse, but thank God it was available at all. For some unclear reasons the availability of electric sockets in the room was very limited - just 2 I guess which is not enough nowadays for all kind of gadgets and cameras.
Fabulous location, excellent clean and well maintained sand beach, lovely sea view, very helpful staff, spacious and clean room. Gradual entrance to the sea - fabulous place for families with toddlers and kids.

United KingdomDifficult to park outside hotel. We were lucky and found a space which cost €5 euros per day. Just had to update parking ticket every day( we used easy park app- which was simple to use). Hotel has parking but 20€ a day seemed high. Would of used there parking if €10 a day maybe
Close to beach and everything close by. Rooms were large and comfy. Coffee machine in room with coffee pods. Toiletries in room were lovely. Shampoo and conditioner were amazing 👍🏻. Spa was lovely too.

United KingdomEven though we paid €3000 for 8 nights umbrellas at the front of the hotel weren’t included in the price and it was an additional daily cost of €24 for an umbrella and two beds. Lunch is served only between 1-2pm and dinner between 8-9pm which is very limited. Most member of staff do not speak English and it is very difficult to communicate but not impossible. cleaning was not consistent and the management should upgrade taps and furniture that is old. there should be at least one English speaking channel like the BBC world news for example. this was our first time in Italy for summer holidays but also our last.
Hotel is in a good location and overall is clean.

NetherlandsThe staff and location. Hotel is in a typical Italian beach town located direct at the boulevard with restaurants and direct access to their own beach. The staff at the hotel lobby and the beach restuarant Aqua, were very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast at the top floor of the hotel, was very good.

United KingdomIt’s a very old building, the parking space is way too expensive, there is water in the corridor from air con that makes everything unsafe. The breakfast is very very poor and the balconies are super old and unsafe.

GermanyMake sure you don't arrive to the town hungry because by the time of check-in you literally cannot find anywhere to eat.( Most of the restaurants are closed between 14:00-19:00) I would have expected a better breakfast from a 4 star hotel but there was nothing special about it. Except the people at the reception, you can barely find someone who speaks any other language than Italian (including at the restaurant and beach). But this is not something special only for this hotel. The ratio of english speaking waitresses in the restaurants or bars is not more than 10%. We were there for few days in July. The sea was calm until 13-14 o'lock but it gets windy and rough after 15:00. The waves also bring some moss to the coast, which makes the experience very unatractive. Margherita di Savoia doesn't offer so much as other parts of Italy do. So if you do not specifically need thermal facilities or if you are not already familiar with this part of Italy, I would reccomend to avoid this town/hotel. For us it was definitely an overpriced stay. I would have had a much better holiday for this price in Greece or Turkiye.
The staff of the hotel was very polite and helpful. Room was clean and service was okay in general Beach was clean and not very crowded, however the service at the beach could be much better.

Switzerlandwe took 2 rooms an executive and a suite. Air conditioning not working in one and leakage in the second one. My wife changed the room at 11 pm and I woke up at 5am. Very unpleasant stay despite the commercial gesture with an additional discount on the dinner and same rate applied on two rooms.

United KingdomOnly a very small criticism, we loved our stay but we had to pay for beach beds and umbrella however I think that is standard in the area..and it was with a discount.
The staff were all very friendly. We loved the design and decor of the hotel, especially the rooms. Even though there was a retro charm to the design/decor it still felt updated, very clean and contemporary. Loved the balcony and the breakfast room. Felt like a perfect beach break. Loved the hotel and stay Breakfast was great
