Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaFabio is the most friendly host that I ever had. He gave great advices on what to visit and more importantly how to organise logistics to make the most of our time!!! He even helped us to cancel a park fine in Sorrento that was issued there while I had a valid ticket. Fabio you are a Rock Star! Keep up you great work!!

United StatesThis stay was the highlight of our trip!! Fabio was an incredible host and really went out of his way to make everything perfect. The rooms were beautiful and well kept. The towels were so soft and also included some toiletries for us. Upon arrival Fabio greeted us with homemade limoncello along with cake and Prosecco waiting in our room. They even provided us water in the fridge each day! He also gifted us some gragnano pasta 😊. The breakfast was great and he was also flexible with the timing, even getting it to us at 6:30 and providing us packaged snacks before our early morning flight. Fabio went above and beyond and truly cares for his guests. We mentioned we were going to the Valley of the Mills and after it started raining, to our surprise he drove down to find and pick us up so we didn’t have to walk in the rain. He also dropped us off to the metro station on our first day and kept checking in to make sure we got to our destination okay. He helped us a lot with getting around and figuring out transit directions to our different destinations. Gragnano is a very cute town and right in the middle between amalfi coast, Pompei, and sorrento. It was easy to use this as a base to get to other destinations using public transportation. If you don’t mind a longer commute (~1-2 hours) waking up earlier in the morning and saving on accommodation, the SITA buses and EAV are good to use. Dinner in Gragano was quite affordable, so we often had lunch in the other destinations and dinner back here as places are open late. This was much more affordable than other accommodations on the coast and also a personalized experience we won’t forget!

AustraliaNot one thing.
Amazing service. We loved every second of our stay. The close proximity to Sorrento, Pompeii & Amalfi Coast make this a treasure of a location. The service, cleanliness & outright exceptional overall feel make this the best Booking.com property I have ever stayed at.

BelgiumOur trip was too short, the area is amazing.
Fabio is an excellent host. He gave valuable advices even for questions I didn't yet asked, but just was thinking about. :) Also the location is great (if you want to visit the Amalfi coast or Napoli/Pompei area). Breakfast was excellent also with the possibility to choose between different options. A big plus for us was the parking space since we have a big car and we were worried to park on the typical italian narrow streets. We'll definitely return if we have the chance but in the meantime we'll remember the limoncello and the lemons, the homemade italian cookies, the complementary small gifts and Fabio's hospitality over all.

United StatesMy recent stay at Granoro Gragnano B&B surpassed all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff's attentiveness was evident, ensuring every aspect of our stay was flawless. Their recommendations for dining and local attractions added a special touch to our experience, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the culture. The facilities were immaculate, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. The breakfast spread stood out as a delightful array of fresh and delicious options. It was the perfect way to start each day of our stay. Additionally, the convenience of parking made our visit even more enjoyable, eliminating any stress typically associated with finding a spot in a new area. Overall, Granoro Gragnano B&B exceeded all expectations, offering not only a comfortable stay but also a personalized and unforgettable experience. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone visiting the area.

Fabio was an incredibly caring host. He provided us with tips for walks by the old mills, places to eat and where to park when we went to Pompeii. You can tell he loves being a host. It was great having a private and safe parking spot. It's not far by car from Pompeii and the vesuvius if you want to go there. The breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Fabio for our stay at Grandano, the nice room, the very comfortable beds!!, all the extra's and the help we got making reservations. We hope to be back some day! Keep doing what you do! From now on I'll be checking where my pasta comes from ;-)

United KingdomBecause we went out of the main tourist season there was some construction work happening in the area, but it was not a great inconvenience as we were out visiting the whole day.
Fabio is hands down the best host we've ever had, happy to help with advice at any point in our trip and giving us the chance to sample his home made limoncello. Gragnano itself is uneventful compared to its richest neighbours on the Amalfi coast, but being the world capital of pasta makes it a great choice for eating fantastic food at great prices. The B&B is spotless with well appointed rooms in a central palazzo with high ceilings, and there is parking (included in the price) in close proximity. Breakfast (Italian style) is also available at no extra cost and served daily in the rooms.

AustraliaWhile this accommodation is a solid choice, there were a couple of aspects that didn't quite meet our expectations. The immediate neighbourhood, while peaceful, lacked a bit of charm and was a tad too quiet for our liking. Additionally, the breakfast provided in-room, though fresh each morning, became somewhat monotonous after our three-night stay. We would have appreciated a more varied selection or perhaps a slight reduction in rates without breakfast included. An alternative could be offering vouchers for breakfast at nearby cafes, allowing guests to explore different local options. Despite these points, we still recommend this place for a comfortable stay.
We had a delightful stay at this ideally situated property, perfectly positioned between the Amalfi Coast, Naples, and Sorrento. The room was impeccably clean, and Fabio, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. The added convenience of free parking nearby was a significant bonus. And let's not forget the welcoming touch of homemade limoncello shots during check-in – a delightful surprise! :)

RomaniaFirst of all, Fabio is a great host and gave us a warm welcome. We had the possibility to check in even earlier, we received a lot of information and recommendations that were useful in order to make sure that you're not going to miss anything. The fact that we had a parking spot was an added bonus for us. The location is right between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, very close to Pompei, making it the perfect spot for trips in those areas as well. It was cozy and confortable, very clean and tidy, we enjoyed the breakfast, and we definetly recommend it, as it was exactly as avertised and even more. Thank you, Fabio!

Fabio had good tips for the restaurants in the neighbourhood and the breakfast was really good as well. It was served in the room. When we came back in the evening he left us a few surprises. PortugalI don't have anything negative to say. I stayed in 6 different Italian hotels and B&Bs over 2 weeks, and this was the best hands down. I even extended my stay by one night after arrival.
Everything. Spotlessly clean, nice decor, high ceilings , mini bar , coffee facilities, breakfast served to your room, very comfortable, and incredibly helpful owner. Fabio goes out of his way to ensure you are happy and helps you arrange and book anything you need as well as recommend restaurants, taxis, and tours. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and looked after . Was given complimentary prosecco and delicious limoncello made locally by him. I would 100% recommend this stay to everyone. The location is great for exploring a lot of areas on the Amalfi coast , pompeii, vesuvius, etc. Also....only a short train ride from the city of naples so you can visit everywhere from a nice comfort base in the home of Pasta Gragnano .
