it had a cozy alpine vibe with a very kind owner. breakfast was good and came with a delicious piece of chocolate cake. in comparison to the other hotels in Brixen this place was a really good price.

In the city center! spacious room, helpful staff the hotel gives BrixenCard, with which you can use Plose ski lifts, swimming pool, buses, etc. The location of hotel is really nice!

Owners were really helpful, nice and professional. The room was really clean and spacious with a nice view over the mountian. Big breakfast was served and at the end of our stay the host gifted us a transportation pass to use around the city.

the host were awesome! the breakfast table was also superb! the location is a bit of a walk from train station but not far from the bus terminal so it’s all good. They even give you a guest card so you can use it on transportation and access to attractions. I‘d stay here again if I come back.

The only hiccup actually came with booking.com -- when we arrived, they seemed surprised and confused when we told then we had booked through this website, even though I had in fact booked it over 4 months ago. Once I showed them the email, though, they were very hospitable and apologetic for the miscommunication. Also, it isn't air-conditioned -- though we stayed in the middle of a heat wave (90+ Fahrenheit high) and it really was not an issue in the evening. It cools down a lot in Brixen even in the evening, so even as spoiled Americans over-used to high AC, we were perfectly comfortable with the window closed.

This hotel was wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone. The staff seems to be just one man and woman, both extremely friendly. They were so accommodating and nice far exeeding any reasonable expectations: (1) We stayed overnight on what was Father's Day in the United States, and my husband and I did not have a chance to call our dads until late at night to wish them a happy Father's Day. They let me stay in the downstairs bar (which was closed) to talk to my dad on my cell while my husband called his dad from our room. (2) If you pre-pay for breakfast, they WILL set it for you personally, and it's delicious, so don't skip on it! They told us when we checked in that breakfast ended at 10. When we came downstairs at 10:10am to check out by 11, we just assumed it was some buffet deal and we'd missed it, which was ok by us, we were ready to check out and just be on our way and find coffee elsewhere. But there was breakfast--all locally sourced--sitting at a table just for us, with amazing coffee and delicious juices. I don't say this about most hotels, but take them up on their breakfast. (3) After check-out, we needed to work for a few hours in-between transferring to a four-star hotel our tour company had booked for us in Brixen for the next two days (I won't say which one). Even though their cafe was closed until 2pm, the staff let us stay and work and served us a glass or two of prosecco (with free, unasked-for snacks) while we did. :) It was perfectly shaded and cozy and the perfect place to work out of the sun on what was a blazing-hot summer afternoon. This hotel is the best. Book it and you'll be so glad you did!

The staff were very helpful with advising on if the weather was suitable for ascending to Plossehutte the following day. Generally very friendly and helpful. The bar area was very cozy and the room was comfortable and clean. I didn't eat there, however, there is a 10% discount available at the restaurant across the road with their card. Furthermore, they offer guests a free travel pass around Brixen that lasts for 24 hours. This includes the chair lift that can get you up to the summit of the Plosse.
