A family-led, Italian-style hotel in the heart of the old town of Sirmione. Some rooms offer a wonderful lake / castle view, and diverse breakfast is served on the lake terrace. Very quiet at night & very kind host, offering great recommendations.

The shower in our room was difficult to control the water mix

The location was very central and next to the fort. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean. Parking was slightly confusing, with parking in a private off site area. But once explained the process was very good with a free shuttle service right to the hotel door.

Only plug that took the adapter we had was in the bathroom but we managed with that!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and the location was so beautiful, even in the rain!! Interesting old town with shops and restaurants. We loved every minute of our stay.

No in-room coffee and tea making facilities. No duvet only sheets and a blanket. The temperature did drop in the room at night due to the build of the hotel. Obviously this would be an advantage in the summer.

Grifo Parking - the buggy to hotel service makes it easy. We handed over our luggage and walked to the hotel because it was so near. The hotel is next to the castle at the entrance to Sirmione and we had a view of the lake from our 1st floor room. Booking in was easy and the room was ready for 1400hrs. The room was practical and basic as expected for the rating of the hotel, just what we needed as we were using it as a base. The breakfast was very good with enough choice for everyone. Air Conditioning and TV in the room. The staff are very welcoming and informative.

The bed was an OLD spring mattress. Definitely needs to be replaced. The room is outdated but I could live with that since it is in an ancient building. Everything was nice & clean & cared for.

Very historical and the people working there were very friendly. Also in a great location.

Stunning location right next to the castle in Sirmione. We had a castle view room: just amazing! Comfortable room with air conditioning. Much better than you would expect in a 2 star hotel. Nice breakfast on the terrace directly on the lake front! Lovely and very helpful staff! Highly recommended!

The hotel doesn’t have a bar but they do have a refrigerator full of drinks and will serve these on the terrace for you which we loved. There is a restaurant next door under the same name but different management.

Wonderful location right next to the castle in Sirmione. We had a lake view room on the top floor with a fantastic view from the balcony (small but functional with 2 breakfast bar style stools). Comfortable room with air conditioning. Adequate storage for the 3 nights we stayed. The bathroom was a decent size and well equipped. More than you would expect in a 2 star hotel. Breakfast on the terrace directly on the lake front was wonderful. Wide selection of pastries, meats, cheeses etc and unlimited coffee. We would definitely stay here again it exceeded our expectations. The hotel arranged parking which included electric taxi transfer to the hotel for guests and luggage, this worked very well. It was 15.5 euros a day which was reasonable.

The shower was a bit tricky; the temperature wasn’t consistent and we really had to fiddle with the knobs to get it right, but that was a small thing. Being in the middle of Sirmione you will also hear a bit of noise and have crowds, but that’s to be expected.

Incredible location, and very comfortable room! The view from the room was fabulous; you could see part of the old castle and out over the lake to the mountains. The air conditioning was vital, and so nice to have. The included breakfast was also so generous, and the terrace where it was served had lovely views of the lake. Finally, the staff were amazing: the plugs here are different from other European plugs and require THREE PRONGS; they were able to lend us a two to three prong adapter for the duration of our stay, and were so gracious and lovely with recommendations.

Lack of some handle under the shower. If you could fix the shower to the wall, it would be easier to wash.
