There was quite a lot of noise. We went in early May, so beginning of the summer season, and there were plenty of renovation works going on at the hotel. Perhaps this is not always the case, but generally the rooms don't have very good soundproofing so you need ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise

Friendly staff who were very helpful and accommodating. We also did a massage at the hotel spa which was very relaxing. The bonus for us was the hotel cat, relaxing by the pool alongside the cat was definitely something I'll miss. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, despite having read some negative reviews here, we thought there were plenty of options, and the pastries were very tasty.

Spa didn’t feel very clean, very few of the machines in the small fitness room worked, coffee not great at breakfast, floor of our room didn’t feel very clean and we had issues with hot water and air conditioning (but after calling reception these issues did get resolved). We visited in early may and it felt very much like off season and that nothing was really ready yet, there were also ants and silverfish insects in our room. There also didn’t seem to be a light switch for the lights on the balcony.

Nice hotel with veranda that opens onto the beach. Beautiful classic interior. Staff very friendly. Would stay again. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, soft drinks and tea in the room replenished each day, our room had a balcony overlooking Etna. Access to the spa was free, you just need to book in advance. Overall we had a really nice stay, but felt that there were quite a few little things that could be addressed to improve guest experience!

We were expecting to have sun loungers on the beach but these were not Brough out till June.

This is a lovely hotel with old world charm and direct access to its own private beach. We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the pool and then went for a walk along the shore. It was lovely having a beach right on our doorstep. While this hotel attracts an older clientele it was lovely with two children as we could sit on the terrace and let them play on the beach. There is a supermarket and restaurants across the road which are more reasonable priced than in town. It is a 15 minute walk into town.

Coffee at breakfast was poor quality. They need a better coffee machine. Very old. Also jacuzzi in spa was not warm enough.

We preferred this hotel before taormina, because of its free parking and late night arrival. We couldn’t reach free parking because of crowd of hotel and we had to park on street. It might be a problem at summer. The room is clean but hairs were on bathroom floor. The breakfast is not very good but the croissants and almond cake may the best in the island.

Front desk staff (including the manager) were not friendly but the cleaning staff were awesome. There was no change in the breakfast all 8 days. Most stores and restaurants nearby were closed so it was a bit of a walk to everything. Only one chair in our room and there were 2 of us. There was construction noise all day- this was not on the website nor was any apology made for the nuisance noises.

Sea front views and waves were exactly what we wanted. Walkable beach. Beautiful hotel overall.

I wanted to give really a high score to this hotel, both because of the interiors and because of the staff, but sadly there were 2 major problems for me and my wife: - no sound proofing, I mean literally zero, none whatsoever, we stayed two days and we were both woken up by other guests taking a shower, pulling their luggages around or "moving chairs" (why?) both the days at 5 / 6 am - very average international breakfast, definitely the pastries and sweets were ok but the ham or the scrambled eggs, especially the scrambled eggs, were really really terrible, I wasn't expecting anything amazing but the quality of the savory servings were just terrible. As a side, would be great to have some lights in the parking, the second evening, after we came back to the hotel and parked the car, one guy started to stare at us and ask things, not nice....

Very good looking hotel, the interiors are really great! Also great location to enjoy the sea, or at least its view (we traveled in February), and not too far from Catania, Taormina and other interesting locations. Both me and my wife got the rooms upgraded to the sea view, which was nice. The staff was really great and very helpful, they suggested me and my wife a nearby restaurant and meanwhile we weren't too lucky with the second courses the starters and the first courses were simply amazing! Although there isn't really anywhere to go, the hotel is next to the beach and the sea, with my wife we enjoyed a nice walk along the sea. The hotel also provides access to a small internal spa for 1h which is a nice addition. Beds and pillows were ok.

The hotel is nice. It had everything you need, and had spa. We stayed there only for couple of days. Located in calm and quiet area, only 20 minutes of drive from Taormina. It had its own parking space, so you don’t have to think where to park. As soon as we arrived, the cool receptionist Salvo (Salvatore) welcomed us with friendly smile and gave us an awesome tips and guided us with everything. When you meet awesome people like this at service, make you want to come back👍 that’s what made it a great stay👍Grazie mille

Amenities abund, and the walk-in shower is appreciated. Breakfast had a good variety. There is direct access to a beautiful beach. Finally, I had a nice Finnish sauna in the spa before I headed on.
